Saw the updated character roster, but there are still some errors.
Choi Jil (1, identified 4) and Kim Hoon (1, identified 4) were both identified on Episode 1.

OK thank you, if you saw them identified in Hangul then I'll note that.
Just FYI, the Hangul font that they're using is so small that the subs completely cover it up. Someone may be identified but I will not see it if the sub stays on screen long enough. So it's yet another issue on top of the failure to translate most of them. I don't recall ever having so much of a struggle with this in a series. But I will do my best, and by all means let me know if there was something I didn't see.

I thought this episode was terrific, especially the battle scenes. I hope they never go back to the old-style KBS historicals. Except for the clenched fists, I don't think any of the old tropes have shown up yet. Particularly, no generals have been declaiming to the cameras while their subordinates are all lined up behind them, looking off at the horizon.
And Gang's wife is a hoot; he looks so henpecked.

Particularly, no generals have been declaiming to the cameras while their subordinates are all lined up behind them, looking off at the horizon. This plagued me so much in Dae Jo Young and Iron Empress (and also the one episode I watched of Yeon Gaesomun) like who Are y'all looking at??

Yeah I don't know if EWG debuted that but it sure perfected it. Even to the point of whole groups of people stepping to the camera in unison. Terrific series but that was one consistently silly little thing in it.
