Thoughts on the Opening

So what are y'all thoughts on the opening?

Unremarkable?

We can talk either visually speaking or musically.


All I can say is that musically, it doesn't hold a candle to the previous KBS historicals, even the bad ones.

As for visually.....nice sculptures?

Does anyone get a "Game of Thrones" Intro-Vibe from this intro?

Kingdom's OP is good though.

Atmospheric and good camerawork.

I actually thought it reminded me a bit of the opening of Third Republic, because of the statues.

I had the same thought. Third Republic's opening was way better done though.

(there used to be footage of the opening moving but MBC seems to have taken it down)

Both openings are basically art exhibitions for statues of the historical figures, but despite being nearly the same length (ten second difference), Taejong Yi Bangwon's feels strangely lacking.

Maybe I shouldn't compliment the opening for the Third Republic.

Agree, there is a Game of Thrones vibe.

Really dull theme music . When i think of Bangwon I think of the Tears Of The Dragon theme . This is like library orchestral music .

The graphics for the visuals are nothing to write home about either . Even when a Saguek is bad they usually have a decent theme and interesting visual graphic . This has neither sadly .
