Thanks for the tips....
I watched the clip again with the subs. He told her not to look at the king, we all know you don't do that but she did way too much anyway. Oh well, if she wants to learn to act in historicals all she needs to do is study Choi Myoung-gil. But Im Ho had a good sense of humor about it all.
Makes sense that the other drama is on YouTube--the site I found seemed to be third-partying it from somewhere else but I couldn't find where it might be coming from. Much better to watch there, appreciate it.

Im Ho as Sado in King of the Wind. I think I came across the first episode of this a while ago, but I never started watching it.
I did watch MBC's Yi San , which I would really recommend.

Well that was different! Thanks truth. Wish it had been subbed but we get the idea. Hope she doesn't quit her day job for this...although it got better as it went along. They actually filled most of the cups and bowls with liquid, which they dont do in the real shows. Made me laugh. But they dubbed in the recorder sound? You can teach someone to play a couple of notes on a recorder in about five seconds. And they went right to that poles-through-the-legs torture that I never have seen a proper explanation for--of all of the cliches they could have picked that was a funny one. Im Ho looks great for 50 doesn't he? And now the best part, this reminded me of seeing a little clip of him playing Sado in a 1998 drama...and I took a quick look around and found the drama online with English subs! It's on one of the free sites with all of the pop-ups, and it was taken from an Arirang broadcast so it may be all hacked up for their time slots. But whatever, it's a great find and we'll definitely do the drama here someday soon. Very stoked to find this! The only other Im Ho drama that old that's available is Jang Hee Bin 1995, which happens to be written by the same writer as the 1998 drama (his dad)

Thanks for the link to King Of The Wind Sean . This drama is really interesting even though i am tired of the Sado/ Grainbox storyline . The stuff about Sadoβs sisters is fascinating and I canβt get the theme music out of my head .

Frankly I'm a little bit nervous about it, between that "different point of view" comment we got from the producers and the sort of Kingdom-esque feel that the trailer had to it. By "different point of view," I think they meant that they'll be focusing more on Lee Bangwon's family affairs than previous historicals about the same era did. After watching the 1st 2 episodes, I noticed that they put more emphasis on Lee Bangwon's brothers and other characters that were previously very important like Choi Young, Jeong Dojeon, and Jeong Mongju became more of side characters.

I actually have that song (It's called Royal Family Theme I) and its other version (Royal Family Theme II) saved from the OST! Wish I could've found more tracks than I did (I have like 5 and two of them never appeared in the drama).

Im Ho as Sado in King of the Wind. I think I came across the first episode of this a while ago, but I never started watching it. I did watch MBC's Yi San , which I would really recommend. To this day I have never watched a Sado story. I keep hearing positives and negatives about this one or that one and have never known what to do. I've heard some good things about Yi San and may well give it a try someday, so thanks for that. The thing that attracts me about King of the Wind is that it's supposed to be based on Lady Hyegyeong's memoirs. Not sure which one of them (they're too different to combine them) but if it's the fourth one, that is an absolutely fascinating account of somebody gradually coming apart under pressure and would make a great series if done well. Plus Im Ho has always excelled at playing characters who were conflicted or being pulled in multiple directions. But I don't know much about the series, so do I watch that one.... Whatever, in another year when EWG is done here I definitely will watch one Sado story, because at this point it's almost embarrassing.

To this day I have never watched a Sado story. I keep hearing positives and negatives about this one or that one and have never known what to do. I recommend the film The Throne(2015) for a Sado related story. It's the best work created about Sado and the most historically accurate. Other works distort history by trying to justify Sado's actions or making it seem like Sado was completely innocent and was just framed by his political enemies. Yu Ah-In's acting in this film is top-notch.

Am I the only one whose Kocowo isn't working on their computer? Real sorry to hear it isn't working for you. Not only is it working for me but I'm very impressed with it--the ads aren't unreasonable at all, the subtitles are pretty good (not perfect but we've had soooo much worse) and so far it functions well and streams well. Maybe if you contacted them they might be able to help figure out the problem. Hope you can get it fixed. I recommend the film The Throne(2015) for a Sado related story. I did make an attempt to watch it once before (I think because you or someone here mentioned it) and I found it online but I must have gotten busy and didn't get past the first ten minutes or so. But I just found it online again and am in the middle of it. Will finish it tomorrow... ...and then hopefully will get back to Episode 2 of LBKT tomorrow as well. My apologies for being slow on that.

I like the Throne a lot . Highly recommended,i cant say which is most accurate so i follow what Truth says .All we really have in English is Hulbert's History Of Korea, Lady Hyegyeongs memoirs and the famous novel Everlasting Empire .
Red Sleeve makes no bones about that fact Sado was a degenerate. In fact everything about this drama is great except the love story of the two leads.Princess Hwawan is equally twisted in her methods to try and gain power.
King Of The Wind/Kings Road is very good but you really have to pay attention to the drama which can be hard as it moves slowly .Its still good though .
