Just the opening title, that's all I have access to, but what I also found out is that the show has 178 episodes, the last of which is available on MBC's online archives. The show ran daily from Monday to Saturday from January 31st, 1977 to August 27th, 1977. The show itself is about Merchant Kim Man Deok, the first woman in Joseon to become a merchant. This show seems to focus more on her time in Jeju (I think in the show Jeonghwa is her name before she became a gisaeng?).
An article from before its premiere gives the plot: newslibrary.naver.com/viewer/index.nhn?articleId=1977012900329206030&editNo=2&printCount=1&publishDate=1977-01-29&officeId=00032&pageNo=6&printNo=9643&publishType=00020
"In the reign of the Lee Dynasty's Jeongjo, a tale spins of a famous Jeju gisaeng named Man Deok. This woman lives bravely and beautifully among a time of the Seven Reasons for Divorce and the Three Bonds of a Woman.
Against the pleas of his subjects, Jeongjo summons Jeju gisaeng Man Deok to Seoul. He rewards her for her merits and makes her an example to all. On the boat to Hanyang, Man Deok reflects on her turbulent life.
Originally a commoner's daughter, she is betrayed by her fiance Kim Se Young and becomes a gisaeng. She lives with a resolve for revenge, until a beggar named Lee Dowon appears and falls in love with her. She then wields her genius business skills to become Joseon's first female merchant.
One day a typhoon strikes Jeju, turning it into a living hell, but Man Deok uses her hard-earned fortune to help the people without hesitation. Afterwards, they call her Man Deok the Heroine, and rumors of all kinds make it to the Palace, including rumors that she retreated into the mountains."
