Assembly meeting with Goongyae...you know what they’re all thinking...don’t cough, don’t cough, don’t cough....
Ahjitae is going to oversee forming a new army? Pfffffffttttt
More with Doyoung pouting about wife #3. Put a sock in it, lady. Now you know how Buyong felt when you showed up! Sheesh.
The word “anchorite” we’ve come across before; it means religious recluse, kind of like a hermit. We know he was a high scholar also, which would have been how he got his reputation.
What a beautiful image this was, as we watched Park walk out of sight. Once again big credit to the series for making a big effort for a brief visual moment.
That was a strange exchange between Goongyae and his boy genius. Why was the kid asking about WG? I wondered if he had some historical insight and was going to warn Goongyae about letting WG get too popular. But it turned into just fan-boy-ism. Didn’t understand what was going on there.
Sudal still in full-out Wakizaka mode, always fun when he turns up.
Oh Darin: “He is too good a man to be my son-in-law only. For that reason, the Supreme Councilor and I have agreed to accept this as unavoidable.” And delivered with a chuckle. There we go, that’s more like it. He’s found the proper perspective on it.
WG: “He left Ganja, the symbol of Maitreya, in my keeping.” And then Tepyoung tells them the whole story? What the heck? Those guys don’t need to be told this! Sure they’re his loyal subordinates and sort-of-brothers, but the more people who know, the greater the risk is. What an odd scene that was, and in a hot tub at that.
Goongyae: “What you seek is not this sword but more power...I may have only one eye, but I see many things.” Yeah I’ll say, talk about the evil eye....
Things are really starting to get weird, aren’t they?

Park Yu..Historical records describe him as a divine anchorite who appears to have been greatly respected. Frustrated with Goongyae’s tyranny, he would disappear from the world about this time and reappear when Wang Guhn is elevated to the throne. Like this, Park Yu leaves the palace in search of the master healer, never to return. This would be another devastating loss for Jongkahn.
