Ae Jung is a single mother. She has a daughter named Ha Nee. Ae Jung works for the movie production company Thumb Films. When the company goes bankrupt and the CEO disappears, Ae Jung tries to get a loan to finance a movie based on a book by writer Cheon Eok Man. Pa Do is the head of Nine Capital. Pa Do offers to finance Ae Jung's movie if she gets Ryu Jin and Eok Man on board. Pa Do's son Dong Chan is Ha Nee's classmate. Dae Oh is Ae Jung's ex-boyfriend and a famous novelist that writes under the name Cheon Eok Man. Ae Jung doesn't know that Dae Oh is Eok Man. Dae Oh is still hurt by his breakup with Ae Jung and wants to get revenge on her. Ryu Jin is a famous actor and went to school with Ae Jung and Dae Oh. Yeon Woo is Ha Nee's homeroom teacher. Ha Nee finds a notebook in her attic that has Yeon Woo's name listed as her father.
My main interest in this series was to see how they worked all 4 guys into the story. All 4 have established history with Ae Jung. Not a fan of the mystery father plot. Although the notebook Ha Nee found has Yeon Woo's name as her father, I don't think it would be revealed this early if it were really him. I think Ha Nee's father is really Dae Oh and that's who Ae Jung will end up with. There's too much history between them and still some lingering feelings/unresolved issues. Debating on whether I'll keep watching or not. Might give it another couple of episodes to decide.
Dae Oh agrees to work on the movie with Ae Jung and wants to be the director. Pa Do is on board as investor as long as they get Jin. Dae Oh initially thinks Yeon Woo is Ae Jung's husband but learns she's a single mother. Ha Nee thinks either Yeon Woo or Jin are her father and tries to figure out which one of the two it might be.
I'm dropping this series. I don't like Dae Oh. If I thought any of the other guys stood a chance with Ae Jung, I might keep watching. As I mentioned in my previous post, I think Dae Oh is the dad and he ends up with Ae Jung.
