I don't know about you but one of the things that I like about dramas in the beginning is the 'comedy relief' that's used to grab the viewers attention. There seems to be more comedy in the beginning to get the viewers into the drama before the plot starts to thicken. This drama has been lacking in that. Also the few attempts at 'comedy relief' haven't been all that great. I realize that this in part has to with the fact that this is a serious drama and has mostly older actors but to me the first couple of episodes have been a bit dull. I hope the drama will pick up soon and there will be more (and better) attempts at 'comedy relief' because this drama has been too serious for my taste so far.
I'm not giving up on the drama just yet though. I'm going to continue to watch it because I like the actors and the story caught my interest from the first time I heard about this drama. I mean, what does a guy do when he has 2 wives and children with both of them? How will both his wives react when one finds out that he's still alive and the other finds out that about his previous life? I'm very interested in seeing what Sang-min/Young-tae is going to do. The drama just started so it's going to take a while to get to this point in the story but it'll be interesting to see how things unfold.

"Winter Love Song" and "Love Letter" were serious too, yet they were very popular. I think that this show is a bit leisurely in stting up the situation, but I think now that both of Sang-jin/Young-tae's lives are becoming aware of each other, the potential for conflict will heat things up

I agree but 'Winter Love Song' had its funny moments in the beginning though. 'Love Letter' I didn't watch too much so I'm not that sure about. It's funny though that I had just posted this topic and the drama seems to have picked up in the last couple of episodes.
