I thought so, at least. One thing I liked was that the characters seemed to fall into place in my mind quite well. Often, with a new show, it'll take several episodes for me to sort everyone out.

Today’s first episode was great and was pack with a lot of action. Moreover, so far from watching my favorite character is Minju. I love the way Minju has so much love and affection towards her dad and even 7 years later after the accident happen to her father she still holds him in her heart. Since I am on the subject of her father Sangjin aka Young-Tae, the thing I didn’t understand was when the driver hit Minju’s father. Why didn’t he call an ambulance for help? Instead the driver goes and puts him in the back of his truck and to me that was kind of awkward. Moreover, that part was a real shocker because the driver of the truck ruin Sangjin's aka Young-Tae’ s night and all I could think of was a gift that was never received. Also, after the incident happen in seven years they didn’t say what sickness Young-tae encounter. Well, I guess I will have to wait for the next episode . Overall, the show was great and I give kudos to the actor Young-Tae because he really makes me believe the character he is portraying. Plus, I really though the part when Young-Tae bought the comb for Hyun-ja was so sweet.
Going off the subject I notice I saw some familiar actors like Minju’s grandmother and the guy who likes Na-young is from the drama lady mermaid. Also, I think in the previews I saw Miryung from YH. I’m not really sure but they look real familiar lol.
Well, wife to me is starting off with a good start and I can’t wait for tomorrow’s episode.

It wasn't bad. I did like the fact that everything just started and you didn't have to wait for more episodes to understand certain things. I'm guessing is that when Young-tae was hit by the truck it damaged some nerves in the brain. I also found it interesting that he tends to wander off.
Yep, who you saw was the actress that plays Mi-ryung in YH.

Yeah I thought the first episode was pretty good. I agree with turtle that I liked that certain things got explained at the beginning. Looking forward to watching more of the drama.

I'm not too crazy about this so far. I like both the wives, but it bothers me that the lead character is obviously so damaged by his accident and yet is married and with a child. Let me emphasize that I'm not saying anything against people who are disabled--far from it!--but this man seems to be completely childlike and really out of it, and his relationship with his second wife disturbs me for that reason.
But maybe he was just having a bad spell last night and that's not the way he acts all the time. The other characters did say that sometimes he "loses his mind" or something like that, when he wanders away and doesn't know what he is doing.
I also thought it was interesting and touching that the one thing he did while he was "lost" was to buy a present to take home, like the one he didn't get to give Min-ju 7 years earlier. It's like part of him is still remembering his other life, something he "forgot to do," though he's not aware of it.
Who is the older man in the hat who lives with/near the man and his new family? I was trying to decide if he was the guy who drove the truck, but 7 years older and without glasses. There had to be some reason why the camera kept focusing on him and his strange facial expressions.

Lucy -
I was wondering along the same lines. I wonder if the intro section about the Human Genome Project, and cloning, will work into the story. Have to wait and see.

I watched the repeat of the 1st episode and what was cut off from the previous day was the fact that the man who ran the other guy over dumped him (Young-tae/Sang-jin) off at a hospital. He left him there and took all of Young-tae/Sang-jin's ID's with him and then burned them off. That explains part of the reason why the family hasn't been able to find Young-tae.

Thanks turltle for the info because I was so confused about what happen to Young-tae and how that other family found him. Moreover, I am noticing a trend with all of the drama's that the re-aired drama’s always feel the gaps. Make’s me wish I would of recorded that episode the following day.
