Yup and you'll see a TOTALLY different character from when she was playing Hana on WML, that's why I think she's such a great actress.

'yellow handkerchief' is currently shown in the philippines. aside from lee tae ran( apersonal favorite) what caught my attention is the open discussion of abortion as an option in case of an unwanted pregnancy. is abortion really legal and acceptable in korea? abortion is taboo here as we're predominantly catholic and prolife. i cannot believe that 2 grandmotherly characters would egg and cajole lee tae ran to remove her baby.

Most of us in America saw "Yellow Handkerchief" over three years ago (!) but Lee Tae-ran is also a huge favorite of mine.
As for abortion in South Korea, so far as I know, it's been legal for quite some time (at least back to the 1970's) - but I don't think that it's exactly encouraged, either.
