Aw come on, what's so difficult? Bring in Huije's clock and repair the other one, and use them for now while JYS gets some time to try to produce something better. The obvious solution. Sheesh.
Sejong has a new screen behind him. This one looks like a painting of a seaside; haven't gotten a real good look at it yet. Would love to know more about those things.
"A genius and an idiot aren't that different." Hmm...interesting...
So JYS thinks Huije will be happy to see the new clock? Wow, he's right, a genius can be an idiot too!
This was a boring episode for the most part. The one exception, I really enjoyed the scene with the ball clock. Lots of fun seeing the thing in operation and learning how it works. I'm sure people today look at it and think of one of those Rube Goldberg contraptions, but for something made in the early 1400s you just have to admire the ingenuity of it, using balls and brass tubes to tell time!
However...From what I've read online, what we saw isn't historically accurate. It doesn't appear that JYS made a completely water-free, ball-only clock, but rather the ball operation was a segment within his water-powered clock.

I can't seem to find much more in English about the specifics of the clock, but if this article is right then shame on the writers for distorting JYS's invention for the sake of the storyline.
Aw, come on, Huije is in a completely dark workshop holding a torch, and we're supposed to believe JYS doesn't see any light? Ugh!
p.s. No changes to the character roster from this episode.
