The Arirang English-language Korean TV network (the one that ran on the old channel 41 and then on 13.2 after KBS bailed) is back on the air in Chicago, on 13.5. Here's the network's website: www.arirang.com/Tv/TV_Index.asp?MType=SFor anybody who doesn't remember, it's a government-funded service and as the website says, "Arirang TV/Radio's objective is to burnish Korea's image in international communities and to improve relationships with foreign countries through close cooperation with broadcasting companies overseas." Mainly news and culture stuff; has a couple of showbiz and K-pop gossip shows. It used to run one daily drama, a rebroadcast of one of the major Korean network dramas, but it doesn't look like they're doing that any more.
