Started watching this drama on Viki and really like it. Started a thread hoping someone will tune in with me....(Jewel where are you!?!?!?)
Heart to Heart (copied from Viki) The world can be a scary place. For Cha Hong Do (Choi Kang Hee), it’s even more so because she suffers from social phobia that causes her to blush excessively, making it hard for her to interact with people. But when Hong Do’s grandmother – her only connection to the outside world – dies, Hong Do is forced to venture out into society. But she is only able to begin work as a maid by hiding behind the disguise of an old woman. Then one day, Hong Do meets Go Yi Suk (Chun Jung Myung), a psychiatrist, and her life may never be the same again. “Heart to Heart” is a 2015 South Korean drama series directed by Lee Yoon Jung.
The main actors are doing a good job, Choi Kang Hee especially is so beleivable in her role...

I'm here, I'm here!! Hello Birdy darling!!
Just finished episode one. Very very good. Love the lead guy and girl. Both very cute. Love that line, "A hot cup of coffee when we're cold - little things like that is what we live for." You know, when he's talking to the girl on the top of the building. Love Hong Doo's cozy house with all the plants and books. She reads like I do when I'm into a book. I take it everywhere with me, and sit curled up any old place to read. And she's so good as an old woman too. Love it. So far.

YEAH! You posted !!!!! Sorry to say I am a couple of episodes ahead of you, but I am really, really enjoying this drama. Hong Doo is great! This kinda reminds me of myself back in the day when I didn't have the guts to speak my mind or give my opinion. I love the idea that she wears a helmet to keep her face covered-- my oldest son has Asperger's and there were many times when I had to come up with an alternative to make it thru a situation/activity with him. (I get the reading, too--- there was many a night when I would read late into the night because the book was so good, I couldn't put it down to sleep-- now it is dramas that keep me awake at night ) (by the way, great avatar )

Episode 2
Was very good. Love Hong Doo as an old woman, she is so cute! How does she run across the water so fast on those stepping stones? I'd be afraid I'd miss a step and break my silly little neck. I just love watching her. Something about her makes me relax when I watch her, like goldfish in a bowl. I like Yi Suk lots too. He's cute and funny! Okay, onto epi 3...

Episode 3
Loved it. The two leads are so cute, and so cute together too. He's a little mean to her but in a likable, funny way. I like the 2nd male lead too. Don't like his frizzy hair though - augh. Guess they had to ruin his hair otherwise he'd be better looking than the lead guy.
Wow, that naked girl running! I don't t think a hypoglycemic person has energy to run like that though. Loved how Yi Suk figured out all was not paradise between mother and daughter. He was very cute when Hong Doo admitted she admired his skills as a doctor. He's just a big baby wanting approval.
The ending was so funny! When she blurts out that she likes Detective Jang. Why would she want to say, "Did you sleep well?" To him? I mean wouldn't just "Good morning" have been better??

I really like this drama, it is hard to not stay up all night and just watching episode after episode, after episode...... The actors are doing a great job. Liked your comment about the 2nd lead's frizzy hair-- it caught me a bit by suprised but it does make him "differnt" from the lead and I actually kinda like it... Even more suprising? the naked girl running! it was so funny to see her running with her body "blurred"! I find it interesting that Hong Do has a "problem" with people that causes her to blush, and the doctor has a "problem" interacting with people......kinda like the same issue but two differnt perspectives... The ending was great--- when she just blurted out her feelings- so cute! I was thinking the "Did you sleep well" comment is a korean way of greeting in the morning, I notice it a lot when I watch korean reality shows. On "Return of Superman", many times the dad's ask their toddlers in the morning "Did you sleep well" and I always wonder "How in the world does a 18 month or 2 yr old know if they slept well"?

Yes, I grew up with the "did you sleep well" phrase. That's how my parents greeted us practically every morning. But that's what I mean when I say it's odd she uses that phrase (or try to) on him. This type of greeting is reserved for very close people, usually people who sleep under this same roof. Not that much different from American culture. We would never go to work and say to our co-workers as a morning greeting, "Did you sleep well?" (Unless of course that particular person suffers from insomnia and had discussed it before).
Though Hong Doo knew Dective Jang for 7 years they've never really even talked. So for her to greet him with that very intimate phrase is strange. Especially coming from a single girl to a single guy. It's almost like a come-on. But hey maybe that was the idea.
Off the topic: Birdy, I went on a shopping rampage this morning!! Bought 8 pairs of pants (3 are capris), five tops and two Coach bags. My hubby is gonna kill me!! You know how some days you can't find anything you like and other days everything you try on you want? Well, today was the latter kind. But I think I'm gonna return 2 pairs of jeans. I have way too many anyway.
I got myself this gorgeous Coach messenger bag, you know the cross body kind? In black and it's beautiful. Got my aunt exact same one in this gorgeous red. They sent me a 30% coupon so of course I had to go and check out what they had at the Coach store. So many pretty new things. Mouth-watering.
Did I tell you I'm going to Korea this August? So I'm starting to buy little gifties for my relatives. My aunt (who is actually only a year older than me) is crazy about Coach bags so I got her one. Then I'm gonna get my uncle an electric shaver. We're staying with them. And then I have to buy lots of little gifts for all the other relatives we're gonna meet up with. I'm very excited!!!!!!

I see what you mean about the phrase "Did you sleep well"-- could she had wanted to say that because she is not the that in tune with "social" behaviors? Maybe because she only lived with her grandma? I had thought it was because she has "known" him for so long, she felt that they were that close? Of course, your suggestion that she was using it as a come-on-- yeah that could be and we are just over analyzing it!?!?!? One other thing and I can't remember all the details, but at one point after the doctor's office is robbed, the doctor said something about "gold hearts" missing and he asks Hong Do how many were missing.... Do you know what he was talking about? I meant to write down more details so I could ask you, but I was too busy watching....... Off topic: Yikes!!! I don't think I have ever bought that much in one day! I really hate to shop for clothes-- too hard to find stuff I like. I REALLY need to be in the mood to shop. I am soooo jealous that you are going to Korea-- there was a girl that I used to work with that went every year, after the year I had last year, I told her if it wasn't for my kids still needing me around I would have jumped on the plane and went with her! Someday I hope to go-- until then I just watch korean TV and imagine me visiting all those beautiful places! If you take pictures, we have to figure out a way you can email them to me, I would love to see them! Maybe you could hang around YG studios and get a picture of Big Bang for me!?!?!?? On another topic: I am watching a drama thru Netflix called Delicious Proposal, I didn't realize at first but Jo Si Sub is in this drama, when he first appears he is wearing sunglasses and I was like"I reconize that smile, that face", but he looked so differnt and I couldn't figure out why ..... and it hit me, he hair is so differnt, he has no "bangs", just an "empty" forhead! So strange! So far a pretty good drama..... Ok--- back on topic, hopefully will get to another episode soon-----

I have no idea what those hearts are about either. Maybe some kinda MD medal? If so, he earned a lot!
Don't worry, I'll definitely post pictures here. And too bad Big Bang isn't with SM along with Super Junior cuz I plan to camp out in front of that building, if any. Hee hee. I also wanna visit So Ji Sub's cafe. I even have the address all ready. The only thing is I have to do all these things before my husband joins me. I go with my parents one week earlier than Hubby and then he'll join us for the next two weeks. So I'll be there three weeks total. Hubby will not be happy if I stalk K-drama/K-pop artists when he's around.
I watched episode 4 of "Heart to Heart" and a little of the beginning of epi 5. Very good. It was so sad when Hong Do finds out Detective is gonna get married. She's so cute when she sticks the cell phone in her helmet against her ear to talk on the phone. The ending was something else. Wow.
But honestly you know what I'm enraptured with right now? I'm watching "Faith" again and oh my gosh, I love it even more than the first time. I think I've re-fallen in love with Lee Min Ho. He is so gorgeous in this drama. He used to be one of my top five faves. But then he dropped out. But he may reappear... And I just love the lead girl Kim Hee Sun. She is so cute. And so funny. I just adore Choi Young character, a warrior who hates killing. I've been crying so much too. What a beautiful love story...
I looked up "Delicious Proposal" and it looks pretty good.

Hey Birdy, am almost done with "Faith" so I'll go back to "Heart to Heart" soon. Sorry about that.
Have you watched "Faith"? It is soooo good. I'm so loving this drama. I'm enjoying it so much more than I did the first time. The political and military sides are very exciting but the love story between Choi Young and Eun Soo - oh my gosh, so beautiful! If you haven't seen it you should try it. It's really so moving. And the music - beautiful!
I am so in love with this Choi Young character. I read up on him (and King Gong Min too) and I'm gonna visit his statue when I go to Korea. I'll try anyway. This drama may become one of my top five fave K-dramas of all time.

I just finished Ep 5 -- so no worries....DON"T READ MORE IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCH!!! I find it hard to beleive that Hong Do and the Dr. ended up in bed together, that seems to me a very intimate/personal situation that two people who have "people issues" would avoid -- unless it doesn't mean much to either of them --it's just something they know people do, so that is where they ended up (Does that make sense?!?!?) Even the Dr.'s girlfriend said "You do that with her, but not with me?" and Hong Do who has known the Dectective for 7 years and can't even talk to him, just falls into bed with the Dr. ?? I just don't know, it fits the story in some ways, but in other ways it just seems unbeleivable... I love how Hong Do hides out in her closet-- I used to that the same thing when I was in High School! Some days I would come home from school and just want some peace and quiet so I would make room in my closet and just enjoy the quiet! That Dr. sometimes he is soooo annoying, but then I realized he is just trying to help Hong Do, but he really seems to go out of his way to push her buttons..... I laughed when the Dr. was upset when Hong Do didn't show up for work and he fashioned a "fake" Hong Do in her chair, even using the lamp to look like her helmet! Hond Do and the Dr. are so funny with their reactions to spending the night together-- he wants her to journal all her activities/feelings, so he can find out what she thinks of him and Hong Do-- she worries about if he saw the hole in her undies! The letter Hong Do wrote to Detective Jang was so meaningful, so well written, I would rather have her end up with the Detective than the Dr. but it is hard to beleive she will end up with either of them! 7 years of treating him to food and she is just gonna stop? Wow. I can't beleive she wouldn't try to fight for his affections-- which kinda goes along with what I said in the begining-- she can just jump into bed with the Dr., but she can't fight for the Dectective-- someone she really seems to have feelings for? Doesnt really make sense to me..... BUT don't worry I am really liking this drama. Everyone is doing a great job! (I am gonna put Faith on my "to watch" list, it looks like something I would really like-- thanks for the recomendation!) (wow that is really a looong post! I think I may have broken a my record here!)

Maybe this is why they slept together. Becuz they have "people issue" as you put it. People who sleep around are usually trying to compensate for lack of emotional connection with others around them. Not that these two are sleeping around... And she says herself that the reason was when she found out Dectective Jang was getting married, she was so upset she didn't care about anything anymore. But I was very surprised too. Yi Suk did it cuz he likes her obviously. Though he can't admit it.
Did you really?? I didn't have room even if I wanted to! Besides I'm claustrophobic so that woulda killed me.
I think he does that cuz he's extremely comfortable with her. Of course he tries to help her during their "sessions" but most of the time I think he just sees her as another person, not a patient. That's why I think she is so comfortable with him in return. Dectective Jang, on the other hand, treats her like a doll made of glass. That can get tiring after a while, I would think.
Guess what? After I finished, I started right back and am watching all over again. I wanna live in this drama world! I love it so much. I listen to its OST all the time. The music and the songs are all so beautiful. And Lee Min Ho is definitely back on my top five fave list. He may be my #1, ousting Park Si Hoo. I love this drama so much that when I'm not watching I even miss the villains!!! Whenever you watch let me know and I'll watch with you.
Episode 5 of "Heart to Heart" was very good.
That part when she says to herself, "He must think I like him"... That killed me. I was like, well yeah, you slept with him, doesn't he have a good reason to think that??
I liked the car scene when Yi Suk imagines Hong Do is with him and comforts him. Very sweet. He's so gone on her. And I thought it was so funny after Hong Do tells him she has no feelings for him, that she only slept with him cuz she went insane for a minute and she leaves and he mutters to himself, "What is this I'm feeling??" So cute.
The butler and Yi Suk's boss very cute together. I hope something definitely develops there.

Okay, finished episode 6.
First of all, I have to say Yi Suk can be a very insensitive person. But what was really unforgivable was that trick he pulled on Hong Do at the end, regarding the fire scare. That was not even remotely funny. If someone pulled a prank like that on me, I would never speak to them again. Awful!
If I were Hong Do I would choose the old man over the two guys. One is an insensitive pig (tho cute) and the other is a slow-wit who takes 7 years to recognize the woman he loves (also cute). Can you imagine going through life trying to look old instead of young?? Hee hee!!
That butler when he scratched his derrière in front of Yi Suk's boss almost killed me, I was laughing so hard. So funny!! And her reaction - she is a riot!!!
Still addicted to "Faith." I now have the main theme music as my phone ring tone. And Lee Min Ho is reigning #1 on my top five fave K-actors. Let's see how long he lasts...

Like I mentioned before, sometimes I get that Yi Suk treats Hong Do the way he does to help her "break out of her shell" (or should I say helmet?!?!)-- but the fire scare was waaaaay toooo much! I really dislike him for that! I was thinking it was weird that the smoke wasn't making her gag more, but then it wasn't really a fire! What if she got in a accident? She was following the fire truck so close, what if she had fallen running around the building looking for him? what a JERK!!! I loved the scene when Hong Do took the journal and beat Yi Suk with it! He so deserved it! I can't beleive he told the Detective that they "slept" together-- really, so low. On the other hand, I liked when the Detective told Hong Do to watch out for herself, to cherish herself-- it seems that he sometimes is looking out for Hong Do, where the Dr. seems to be only looking out for himself. The Dr. always seems to run to the Detective to ask him about Hong Do, or to brag--at one point he even tells the Detective to stay out of his business-- well, then maybe he shouldn't be running to him all the time!!! I really am liking the OST for this drama, the music/lyrics are really great. I agree with you about Lee Min Ho-- some of my favorite dramas had him in them!

Episode 7:
Really? Of all things he could get her, Jang gets Hong Do a RED scarf???
Detective Jang is showing her too much interest too fast, too suddenly. She can't take it all in. No girl likes a sap and he' sure is turning into one fast. Yikes!!
I don't understand regarding Yi Suk and his dead older brother. I would think if there is a strong and healthy son and a weak and timid son, most mothers would cherish her weak and timid son more, simply cuz he would need her love more. Hmm...
Wow, poor thing... Hong Do is far gone on the doctor now...
(I adore Lee Min Ho!!! But I think mostly as Choi Young...)
