I figure most people who like kdramas also like Kpop, rap, etc? I know I do.  Is anyone else going to KCON this year? It’s in LA on August 9th & 10th. This will be my first time so I am not sure what to expect.  |

Welcome, Brooklyn...thanks for joining us. We have a big range of opinion on K-pop here. Everything from a bunch of big fans to at least one person who can't stand the stuff.
If you look in the "Let's Talk Music!" thread in the General board you'll find a lot of great K-pop information and links. The person who posts the information does a great job with it. You'll like it.
We have a few members in California but I don't think any of them are going to the event in Los Angeles. I know they're promoting it like crazy on the KBS America stations and it sounds like it will be a big deal. Please let us know what you thought of it after it's over; it would be nice to hear from someone who was actually there and get a first-hand review.
