These images are paintings of the Mongol Invasions of Japan. The ones firing at the samurai are the Koryo troops, while the ones retreating are the Mongols. It would appear that the Koryo liked to wear feathers, or whatever that was. Interestingly enough, I found this on KBS' website, which made me wonder whether this painting is genuine or a fabrication (I love how the Koreans are portrayed as demonic).

Thanks, sageuk! Appreciate your sharing these. Pretty funny showing the Goryeans fighting and the Yuan fleeing. Gee, I wonder if the artist was Goryean....
