Info from eps 1 & 2. Lee Seon Jae (Yoo Ah In) is a 20 year old aspiring pianist currently working as a courier. He learned to play the piano on his own while his mother worked to support them. Kang Joon Hyung (Park Hyuk Kwon) hears him play the piano at a Seohan event and wants Seon Jae to enroll at their academy and become his student. Seon Jae agrees to enroll hoping to change his life. Oh Hye Won (Kim Hee Ae) is a 40 year old director for the Seohan Art Foundation. Part of her job is looking after Seo Young Woo (Kim Hye Eun). Hye Won is married to Kang Joon Hyung (Park Hyuk Kwon). He asks her to listen to Seon Jae play the piano and is blown away by his talent. Kang Joon Hyung (Park Hyuk Kwon) is Hye Won's husband and a professor at the Seohan Music Academy. He doesn't like that another professor, Jo In Seo (Park Jong Hoon), gets all the attention and is more highly regarded than him. He believes having Seon Jae enroll at the academy and become his student will finally be his time to shine. Seo Pil Won (Kim Yong Gun) is the head of Seohan group. Young Woo is his daughter and head of the art center. Han Sung Sook (Shim Hye Jin) is Pil Won's wife, Young Woo's stepmom and head of the art foundation. Young Woo and Sung Sook don't get along. There's frequent bickering, among all parties involved, about students getting into the academy based their connections rather than talent. Park Da Mi (Kyung Soo Jin) is a hair dresser at a fancy salon frequented by Hye Won, Young Woo and Sung Sook. She is Seon Jae's girlfriend (I think). Yoo Ah In and Kim Hee Ae Won worked up a sweat during the piano duet scene. All you needed was someone to start smoking a cigarette at the end. Seon Jae & Hye Won - Piano Duet SceneEpisode 3 Preview

Info from eps 3 & 4
Seon Jae wants Hye Won to be his teacher. Seon Jae later goes online and continues his chat with his music major "friend" (Hye Won). He comes clean about his feelings for Hye Won. Hye Won realizes the person she's talking to is Seon Jae. Seon Jae's mom gets into an accident and dies the day of his audition for Seohan university. Seon Jae misses the audition and is disqualified. He decides to quit playing the piano and enlist for public service duty.
Hye Won sends Seon Jae a book. He goes to see her and asks Hye Won not to send him anything anymore. Seon Jae kisses Hye Won. They go inside her house. Hye Won stops and thinks about what she's about to do with Seon Jae. She pretends she's sobering up and doesn't remember what just happened. She sends Seon Jae home. Seon Jae gets arrested and thrown in jail. Da Mi asks Hye Won for help, not knowing her connection to Seon Jae. Hye Won has Joon Hyung help Seon Jae get out of jail. Joon Hyung wants Seon Jae to start playing again and enroll at their school.
---------------------------
I almost fell out of my chair when Seon Jae told Hye Won "I literally climaxed. Though I wouldn't know because I'm still a virgin." about the piano duet during their online chat. Then Da Mi tells Hye Won "We didn't sleep together yet but I'm going to marry him." about Seon Jae when asking for her help. LOL The characters in this series are funny in an odd way. I'm probably in the minority but I like Da Mi. It's going to suck when she finds out about Seon Jae and Hye Won. I think Kyung Soo Jin has a bright future. My only complaint about the series would be the forced kiss at the end of ep 3. It wasn't too bad though.

I am enjoying this one so far. I'm not certain about all of the music school/arts foundation drama, but I like both leads a lot and they certainly have plenty of . . . chemistry.

Glad you're liking the series. Yeah, all the school and foundation stuff isn't all that clear to me. I like Seon Jae and Hye Won but wish she wasn't married. That's not going to end well. I liked their online conversation in ep 3. I found it funnier than it was probably intended.

Info on eps 5 & 6
Joon Hyung wants Seon Jae to only focus on music and worries that having a girlfriend might be bad for Seon Jae. Hye Won kisses Seon Jae as "punishment" in the piano room. Seon Jae moves back to his old place so he can secretly meet with Hye Won without Joon Hyung and Da Mi finding out. Hye Won tells Joon Hyung she's going to meet friends but really goes to see Seon Jae. Joon Hyung stops by Seon Jae's place and overhears them talking.
Hye Won goes to the washroom at the fancy salon and overhears Da Mi roughing up a customer that had been rude to her. Young Woo wants to start Seohan Apparel for her boyfriend. Hye Won will only help if she has complete control. This upsets Young Woo. After a rough day, Hye Won asks Seon Jae to quietly drive her around for a while.
------------
I almost fell out of my chair when Hye Won read the "Wash your peepee and armpits well when you shower" message from Seon Jae's mom. Da Mi is hardcore. You don't want to mess with her. I fear for Hye Won if Da Mi ever finds out about what's going between her and Seon Jae. I'm not sure if Joon Hyung suspects Hye Won and Seon Jae are having an affair or he simply thinks Hye Won is stealing his student.

Info on eps 7 & 8.
After about 40 minutes of driving, Seon Jae rents a room for Hye Won to rest. She freaks out thinking he has other intentions and leaves him behind. Seon Jae passes his audition. He witnesses Young Woo putting down Hye Won in front of everyone. Seon Jae invites Hye Won over but Da Mi shows up first. Hye Won seems them together and gets jealous. Joon Hyung goes to see a fortune teller about himself, Hye Won and Seon Jae. The fortune teller assures him Hye Won isn't the type to cheat and having Seon Jae around will bring him good fortune. Da Mi overhears customers talking about Seon Jae and wants to find out who his professor's wife (Hye Won) is. Hye Won spends the night with Seon Jae, during which they sleep together.
--------------
If they're not going to show them in bed together, I guess that was the next best way to handle the bed scene. That's a bad fortune teller. I laughed when the motel owner told Seon Jae the chair was adjustable if they wanted to try different positions lol.

Info on eps 9 & 10.
Hye Won goes straight to work from Seon Jae's place. People notice she's wearing the same clothes as yesterday. Da Mi finds out that Hye Won is Joon Hyung's wife. Hye Won takes over as Seon Jae's teacher. Seon Jae breaks up with Da Mi while Hye Won hides on the roof. Da Mi tells Hye Won she knows she is Joong Hyung's wife and introduces herself as Seon Jae's girlfriend. Seon Jae's concert goes off without a hitch. Seon Jae and Hye Won spend some alone time after the concert while Joon Hyung searches for Hye Won. Young Woo's dad Pil Won is under investigation. Hye Won rushes over to their house. Young Woo, Sung Sook and her secretary seem to suspect or know that something is going on between Hye Won and Seon Jae.
-------
Everyone around Hye Won and Seon Jae seems to know about or suspect the affair. They probably both think they're being careful. People who are around you a lot will notice behavioral changes. K-Drama characters are extra suspicious anyway. It seems like Hye Won suspects she's being bugged.
I expected Seon Jae to break up with Da Mi but didn't think it was right for him to do so right in front of the friend. No matter what Seon Jae feels for Hye Won or doesn't feel for Da Mi, I thought Da Mi deserved more than that. I was surprised when Da Mi took the news so well. She clearly didn't as evident in her scene with Hye Won later. While everyone else might want to use the affair against Hye Won for their benefit, Da Mi is different. She's just going to want to beat her up. Given Da Mi's history, Hye Won should be afraid.

This series ended this week on ep 16. I continued watching but stopped posting after ep 10. I'll briefly cover eps 11 to 16 (finale).
Chairman Seo is being investigated. Hye Won is made the scapegoat to get him and the Seo's off the hook. She refuses to go down without a fight. They attempt to pressure Hye Won through Joon Hyung and Da Mi. Joon Hyung accuses Hye Won of cheating and files for divorce. The adultery charge is dropped due to lack of evidence. Hye Won and Joon Hyung get divorced. Seon Jae helps out students that are planning on leaving the music academy but need to pass their midterms (I think). Hye Won works out a deal with prosecutors to take down Sung Sook (stepmom), Director Kim and another director who took the fall for Chairman Seo. Hye Won goes to jail. Seon Jae promises to wait for her. The end.
----------------
I didn't think Hye Won needed to go to jail. She could have worked out a deal with Chairman Seo that wiped her hands clean of their money and let her run off with Seon Jae. I know she was trying to do the right thing and accept punishment for her role in the corruption. I watch shows like Game of Thrones, Walking Dead and Boardwalk Empire. I don't need tv characters to always do the right thing. Hye Won is going to be in jail for a while too. I've never been a fan of "I'll wait for you even if it takes a 100 years" type of endings. I don't condone cheating but I did like Hye Won and Seon Jae. My favorite character was probably Da Mi.

I tried to watch this one but just could not get 'INTO' it. Son instead of this oe, I watched Bride of the Century, which was well acted. It's a bit of a fantasy but mostly deals with real humab eotions. The lead actress who plays two different roles, is so good that you feel like you are seeing two entirely different people .. she Is that effective and believable. although it seemed that the writers just did not know know how to do the ending; they went overboard to show a happy ending for EVERYONE in the series LOL. Now that was a first for me to see in a K-drama.
However, I would recommend watching this isf you don't mind a bit of fantas/other world scenes. The acting is very good and the OST

Now watching Shin Don, "You are surrounded" but not sure if I will contine with that one... some scenes are just silly .. but some are interesting. Only on Ep 4 of that one now.
