Hi, guys, I just wondered (and Kathy from MBC asked me) if our members have been able to access the station, and whether you watch. If so, how much?
I can't get any of these channels due to the restrictive receiver they installed at my apartment building, so I am one of the unfortunate. But if you could just take a moment to post here whether you view. And if you do not, maybe you could make a short statement why.
Thanks. Bo

I get a decent signal. I don't watch often. The current time slots are a bit of a problem and there's nothing on that I really want to see. The time I have open to watch TV is 7pm to 10pm. The only drama I've come across during that time is Oh Ja Ryong is Coming. I'm not interested in that series. The series currently airing on MBCD that interest me the most are Moon that Embraces the Sun and Dong Yi. Both are in bad time slots for me and are available online anyway.

I'm in Arlington Heights and have been getting the signal MUCH better since the move, even though the source is farther away now. The problems I had before may have been due to high-tension lines near my house, but whatever...the boosted signal from downtown is working great for me. Zero problems.
Unfortunately, have to admit that I've watched very little so far. Part of it is my fault for not being familiar enough with the program schedule yet. (I promise to fix that.) But there aren't a lot of subtitled programs, and I keep running into chatty-type shows that I wouldn't be interested in even with subtitles. And as knov mentioned, the scheduling is a problem for us here in the forum as far as following the longer dramas. They're just not presented at convenient times when a lot of people can watch. That was one advantage we had with the KBS shows; we'd get one or two episodes a week at convenient times and that's what led to most of the activity here.
I really appreciate the WIN Media people making the station available over the air in Chicago; I'll keep close tabs on the station and would love to find a show or two to watch regularly.
P.S. If anybody at the station is reading this...If you guys can rustle up Jumong and run it once a week at a convenient time, we'll feature it here. Would be a great fit for us.

Thanks for the great feedback! Rest assured it will be shared with the folks at WIN Media.

Kathy, I'm able to dvr the shows and have found the quality of your drama offerings terrific. But strangely, one show that sounds excellent and was deemed to be worth watching -- Dangerous Woman -- doesn't show up as a non-subtitled show. And the one labelled unsubtitled -- Gaakdugi -- doesn't show up anywhere on a Google search, let alone on 24.5.
