it's like suddenly she's being turned into a poor little damsel in distress who needs protecting by these two hunky guys. Hunky? I will gladly leave that determination to you. Possibly things like the levitating egg might be illusions or magic tricks designed to awe people--not saying our tv producers used magic but perhaps priests at that time had such techniques. That's a good point, hwangok--several episodes back we saw an example of that, when Misaeng had that statue buried and rigged it so it would look like it was bursting out of the ground by magic. Exactly for the reason of trying to awe the locals. The egg, that one didn't seem like anybody was messing around...but we haven't seen it at all since the first couple of episodes, so maybe they decided it was a bad idea and left it. But the kind of illusions you're talking about, apparently they weren't unheard of back then. We'll have to watch out for more of them. Thanks for dropping in, by the way.

Yeah, those guys are both pretty darned hunky, ajk. ;D
Always good to see a member, hwangok--even an occasional poster! I so agree with what you are saying, she's got a whole bag of tricks here that maybe weren't so obvious early in the series.
