Four years ago around the time QSD was airing, I happened to find this children's book in a local library. I came upon it by chance. There was a series of children's books published by Scholastic Press called the Royal Diaries. In each of the books, a fictional diary of a real female figure of royalty as a child throughout world history was written by the author, in this cased, Queen Seondeok. Written by Sheri Holman, the book portrays a young Seondeok when she was a little girl. It was a fun read, seeing how the author speculated how the princess lived her life. I also liked the inclusion of her having the hobby of star gazing (the series briefly shows this) foreshadowing the CHeomsongdae observatory. Have any of you read this?

Yes they actually have this in the local library in the kids section .
''Sondok Princess Of The Moon And Stars ".
I think we mentioned this in the old QSD thread as being the only book on her in English . There was a similar book on Jumong as well i think it was called "Great Archer " or something similar .

Amazon--there are used copies available here. This book contains a simplified version of the Jumong tale.
