hey guys, what is "cliff-jumping" ? Cliff jumping is the art of jumping off a cliff. It's in reference to all the dramas in which characters commit suicide by jumping off a cliff.

I think we need to broaden the definition a little bit. Cliff jumping also refers to characters who just happen to be attacked by an enemy while standing at or near the edge of a cliff. They either jump or fall, wounded, off the cliff a long, long way down into a body of water, and miraculously survive. Sometimes they go solo, sometimes in pairs. Some characters go over a cliff on more than one occasion and survive. They are truly special.

;D Oh yes - cliff jumping is an integral part of almost every K-drama whether historical or modern - in King of Baking, Kim Tak Gu, one of the characters tries to throw another character off the cliff but she fights back and does NOT go over the edge - does that one count as a cliff jump - Just got my computer back yesterday so I have been without my K-dramas for almost three weeks - yikes - it is soooo good to be back - - hi to all

Yes, MS, but they also must literally fall or jump off of an actual physical cliff.

If you didn't or are going to see this movie, this is a HUGE spoiler... www.youtube.com/watch?v=hpkNf0hyTr8
