Not a Spartan Helmet actually more like one worn by Celts or Ancient Brits in the dark ages ,actually kinda looks like we may be in for more Gladiatorial hi jinks .

Jung Bo Seok is looking mighty good. Hope he doesn't twitch in this one the way he did in Dae Jo Young. I hope we don't have to endure too many gladiator episodes before the show gets down to business. That helmet reminded me of The Lord of the Rings.

Yeah, I checked up on it. Armor ain't accurate. According to Koryo dogyung, generals and officers wore black iron and/or leather armor. They would also leave their helmets hanging behind them. ALso, chainmail wasn't used until during the Mongol occupation of Koryo, at least I think. Hey, on the bright side, the armors don't look that silly and over the top compared to what previous dramas had to offer. Now have a look at this link. cafe.daum.net/shogun/MB5/2745You've probably noticed some similarities with the outfits seen the trailers and screenshots right? You know the part I dread the most? Love triangles. I really hate those plots, because they have the potential of overshadowing the plot. Remember King Geunchogo? I know Kdramas tend to use these, but that's a reason I don't like those plot devices. They're overused cliche hackneyed things that make me FURIOUS! OUTRAGED! SICK WITH ANGER!

^Meh. Doesn't look anything special. Then again, I've watched too many action movies sageuk, i must say i'm with you on that one. I also just saw the trailers and they didn't stir any excitement. I think this drama my reinforce my the notion in me that the period of the three kingdoms wasn't an interesting time period or atleast the dramas made based during that time (Ive seem QSD and King Guenchogo). I was hoping if anything the action/fighting scenes will be good but from what i've seen... And i totally agree with you on the love triangle part. I much prefer the action and would take it anyday over the love issues these people seem to have. I think i've seen enough of them to last me a lifetime - i wish they'd make just one drama - out of the million made - that doesn't bring "the drama" - if that's even possible! LOL! It just gets in the way, but then again if done right it does no harm. I'm an action buff but i don't mind a little romance here and there. I guess people enjoy love triangles and the tensions that come with it that's why they're packed in almost every freakin drama. I've also noticed there's some difference in the way they shoot dramas from the 3 kingdoms era and Joseon era periods. I don't know how to explain it, i don't know if its different styled cameras, or different methods of shooting. When am watching a drama from Joseon era its as if i'm watching their life , as in the actors are actually living that story rather than telling the story. With the 3 kingdom era dramas it feels like the BBC dramas, its like watching a Shakespearean play in a theater. Its like watching actors reenacting a play rather than living it. I'm not sure if i'm making any sense. Do you guys get what i mean?

I'm changing the title to God of Warriors. I originally thought the Korean title Mushin meant Warrior, but I found out that it meant God of Warriors after seeing the Chinese characters on the teaser.
I will change the title again if the official English title is different. (Ex. Emperor of the Sea was called the God of the Sea, or Haeshin in Korean)

I agree with you about love triangle. Both Choi Woo's daughter and the slave girl are fictional characters. The drama's gonna make Kim Joon into some sort of romantic guy. In real history, Kim Joon was exiled after he got caught sleeping with Choi Woo's concubine.

I agree about the love triangles. They're so predictable and they slow down the plot.
While there have been a lot of interesting women characters in these shows, the love stories haven't been that interesting. Jumong and Soseono were a great couple, but even that show had the unnecessarily silly wife #1.
I could enjoy a love story if it was well-written and fit into the overall plot instead of just being tacked on to (presumably) bring in female viewers.

The thing with Jumong was that it actually followed historical record. Of course, the love triangle storyline was made up by writing team. But Jumong actually did give birth to Yuri through a woman named Ye.
