I visited the Korean web page and as a member in this forum said, the picture of General Chung (father) is in black and white, which means that he was killed. As per an essay in the internet, young Dae-Seung killed the General, but they don't specify wether is the son or the father, because they are both Generals. If in fact he killed the father, why did he not kill the young Chung when he was at odds and they both hate each other? It's easy to see Dae-Sung to get rid of the young one, but he seldom talked to the older one. This is becoming confusing. if somebody can shed some light, thanks a lot!

Well to quote from the Korean History Project website
"General Yi Ui-bang killed General Yi Ko and sought to grab power by marrying his daughter to the Crown Prince, whereupon the faction supporting Chong Chung-bu assassinated him. General Chong's increasingly dictatorial rule lasted until 1179, when he was murdered by a young military commander named Kyong Tae-sung.
Right now in the program it is 1178 I believe (at least here in Chicago it is). If we look at this paragraph in context, it claims that the father is the one who will be assassinated. I have no doubt that Kyuun will face a similar fate shortly after his father is killed. Once Chung Jung-bu is out of the way his former allies would probably be too scared to stand with him.

from the scene pictures on the Korean web site it appears that in the show the Imperial Guardian is executed.

Thanks guys. I thought the same. What I was trying to understand is how they could convice Kyung Dae-Seung to murder the old man, because he seems not to want to kill anybody. Maybe the Empress just ordered him to do so.

I was wondering if Kyung Daesung is gonna marry the Emperor's daughter...

TO me that doesn’t seem likely. Since the empress will probably get into trouble with the Chungs she'll be married to marry Kyun who will come home every night, get drunk and beat her. Dae-sung will probably have an affair with her.

Well, I personally am rooting for Kyung Dae-Seung to marry the princess. If the Kyung clan establishes marital ties with the Imperial House, then it is assuredly the end for the Chung clan.
