In the last episode here in Chicago, Yi Ui-min's army proceeded through a mountain pass and was attacked by the Imperial Army. I couldn’t believe the Archfiend would do such a fool hardy thing. Well the preview of the next episode was interesting, it shows General Du and the Archfiend fighting to the death and no soldiers in sight so I assume The archfiends army was destroyed during the fight and he barely managed to escape.
1. Was the Archfiend defeated?
2. Who will win, General Yi or General Du?

You're right, there's some REALLY crappy generalmanship going on in Koryo these days ;D
Okay now what you asked for:
Spoiler warning * * * * * * * * * * * * 1. The archfiend's army was essentially wiped out at the pass. What wasn't wiped out in the first battle was taken care of a short time later, after Ui-min had gone off alone to ponder his awful defeat. Ui-min later, though, gets fresh troops, consisting of former Shilla people totally devoted to the "rising dragon" (or whatever they call Ui-min, I can't remember the exact name right now). The Shilla troops address Ui-min as "Your Majesty" which indicates how much reverence they all have for him.
2. Generals Yi and Du are interrupted during their struggle, so nobody wins. As General Du leaves, General Yi tells him that the next time they meet, only one of them will leave alive. Gen. Du (surprisingly) just grins back at Gen. Yi and rides off. Later, Gen. Du raises holy hell back in the Koryo capital, when he lets everybody know that Ui-min was acting on direct orders from the Empress Dowager -- so the treason charges the Chungs were pressing against Ui-min don't hold for very long.
Hope this helps -- Mikey

How do you know all this. Is there a website that details the history that is taking place or you just making it upas your best guess

Yes I look there chigirl. But Yi Ui-Min is nearly impossible to find anywhere on the web.

Does anyone think the Empress Dowager is going to be punished or removed from the palace for sending in Yi Ui-Min to the Imperial City? It can't be as far-fetched. Afterall, no one likes her, even the Emperor.
