or Spaghetti, whatever you wanna call it. Dae-Seung has had many opportunities to kill Chung but never follows suit. A guy who has his lieutenant sent to kill him deserves no mercy. We are talking 1178, right? - He knew before hand that by letting Chung go, when he attacked the village, that he would be back. But he just left!!! -Samurai in 1178 were using sword techniques of one strike one dead. The right hand man of Viceroy Choi in the North shows these techniques at least twice. Kung-Fu with swords don't mix. -In episode 69, Ui-Ming is attacked in the mountain pass. Didn't he know about scouts? The Romans and Greeks as well as Chinese used it with small, median or large armies. For a guy whose only good quality is military, it doesn't make sense he did not send any scouts ahead of his troops. These are some issues that don't make sense to me, although in general I enjoy the series.

err...actually. Kung-fu and swords do mix. The knights of englamd not only used swwords, but kicked quite a bit. Actually, there was more kicking and punching than sword fighting.
The scouts...well...korean military code thingey culd be different from the chinese one. I mean...in china, the emperor ruled by divine right and the people could overthrow if they felt it was nessasery. I'm sure the emperor in AoW would have been overthrown rather quickly. Back to the point...if the rule is different, so could be the military code.

The archfiend thinks he is invited by the empress and therefore could have gone out without any scouts , thinking that they will roll the welcome mat for him.(which is lousy military strategy). That is why now they sent dudell and UlMin brother to scout around
