I just finished watching LOVERS IN PARIS on a set of DVDs that I recently purchased, and now, I see that KBC will be showing it. It is a really good series and I shall be watching it again.
Hope that I am not the only one to watch this show. Can we have a regular thread for this series ?

Where are you watching it? (Sorry, this conversation is sounding familiar; earlier did we talk about another drama that you found?) Is it on Airirang, Ch. 41, non-digital? Tell us the time(s) and day(s) of the week that it's on, please. Lovers in Paris made the top 100 list that Moreshige2 posted a link to on Other Shows. Oh, it's from SBS, so I guess that's why I couldn't find an old thread for it. deiner.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=other&action=display&thread=8679#11. Lovers in Paris (SBS, 2004) - 57.6% (2004-08-15) farahshar.multiply.com/journal/item/41Korean Wiz has a page for it: www.koreanwiz.org/at/drama-paris.htmlHow about using this thread for Lovers in Paris until we see if people are watching it. Bo knows how to move threads and make boards so discussion here can be moved to a new place later if we want it. (Chime in, all you other Lovers in Paris fans. Let us know you're out there reading and watching.... )

The program airs at 8:30 PM, Monday through Friday. If you have terrestrial TV (antenna) then get on channel 41. If you have digital TV, then get on channel 13.2 Comcast has a special channel...you can see the Comcast channel number when you are looking at the KBC channel. They advertise it. I hope that more people will be watching this series and that we can get a standard thread for this show.

This is a really great drama. I hope that people on this forum will watch it. I might add that this drama has a very unusual ending...but that is all that I will say....I do not want to spoil it.

Yes, Elaine, DO NOT SPOIL. ;D Or I'll getcha.
Anyone else want a forum? The reason I am hesitating is because it's so dispiriting that people beg for a forum, and then never post in it. It's a little frustrating.

Our heroine has returned from Paris and is now back in Seoul. She is living in a roof top apartment. Has anyone noticed how often Korean dramas show this roof top apartment. It seems to be the very same roof top apartment used in so many other dramas.

I never think of it at the right time. Most shows start on the hour, and by 8:30 I'm involved in something or ignoring the tv in favor of internet sites or surfing. Maybe I'll set the alarm clock.

;D Just checked out this show - on Comcast No. 391 - DOUBLE sub-titles - very difficult for me to read the English subs below -those Spanish subs. For others who do not have eye problems, hope that is all of you, and who have Comcast, the picture is great, the audio is good and the subs are very clear - if a bit confusing - ' Ch391 is the KBC Comcast channel. It has many Korean shows listed but I do not know how many of them have English subs'; I'll post later after I have a chance to check out other programs for Eng subs.

I agree. The sub-titles are not easy to read. They do seem rather small and also the print is very light.

You are missing a really great show GinnyCat5. Can't you just tape it ? Not really worth it, because then I'd have to sit on my bed to watch it (instead of sitting in a chair in front of my computer). And I wouldn't. I have things I bought on dvd that I don't watch, and there would be great picture and sound there, guaranteed, not like any tape I might make. Sheesh, I haven't even watched my Dae Jang Geum or Damo dvds yet.

I agree. The sub-titles are not easy to read. They do seem rather small and also the print is very light. I really do agree about the subtitles. Lovers in Paris is also on CH41 through AT&TUverse. This drama is a major giant step forward ... say to Working Mom. - as you who read my commentary will remember how much I loathed that story. Lovers in Paris has good characters, great location shots in Paris, amusing plot. Curious that Moon River plays throughout so many scenes. Anyway, I like this. Quite a while ago I purchased Lovers in Prague ... really enjoyed that drama as well. I wish that Airang would give us a historical drama. It would take forever though because of the ridiculous less-than-30-minutes time allowance. I'm very pleased to see Lovers in Paris included in this thread.
