I didn't feel much happened in this episode. It seems like a placeholder. What is with that Swordsman Choi? He plunges his knife sharpener into the meat. He blows on his knife. It may be dramatic, but it isn't very sanitary. He seemed to know, also, that he scuppered Sung-chan's axman, too, but how? Did he know he was going to cause the guy to cut his hand?
However, we did find out that the restaurant is in some financial trouble due to Bong-jo and his probable future FIL's dabbling in ranching. Why are they so anxious to get into the US market? This whole storyline seems like a direct reaction to Bush forcing the Koreans to accept more US beef, and it is rather clumsy to me. I would think they would want to take over the Korean market, in order to force out US beef. In fact, that seems to be what the Beefaroni guy wants to do. Am I wrong?

Oh, I forgot to say. The scene where the fortuneteller is visited by the head of the Beefaronis--where he has his flunky turn off the television. The drama they are watching is "King & I." The guy they are calling a jerk is the King. I love when drama characters agree with me. ;D
