How can that woman be so awful?? She yanked the necklace off the girl's neck, then complained that there was a stone missing. She told the girl that she owed her $30,000 to replace the stone, because it was a big diamond. Girl finds stone, boy loses stone, they look, he finds, she returns it. What happens next? The evil one tells her assistant to throw it away, and assistant says, Yes, you always buy glass jewelry..... [scream here, throttling the &%$]
ETA: When did he decide to marry her, anyway? Somehow I missed it.

Another manipulation: the evil one has been encouraging the artist to date her son. Last night the future MIL invited the artist to come to her apartment and hang the painting she bought, hang it in her son's room, at the same time that the son and his fiancee were scheduled to visit. MIL tells the artist to find the perfect place to hang the picture, then sends the fiancee into the bedroom to get "the present I bought for you". But there's no present, just the snippy artist who throws down a challenge. She'll date the guy, no matter that he's engaged, she doesn't care. Fiancee protests and the #&% artist smacks her across the face! They tussle, landing on the bed, with artist on top holding fiancee down, then fiancee gives a big push, and they land on the floor with fiancee on top -- that's when MIL and guy walk in. Fiancee looks in the wrong, she looks mortified, and the episode ends...... I hope there's a hand mark on the fiancee's face, when they get up and face the MIL.
This is reminding me of My Sweetheart, My Darling, with the MIL who fired the maid and made the new wife wash all the dishes, but "you mustn't tell" my son. There was another woman lurking around with the MIL's encouragement, coming to dinner, going shopping with her, calling her "omoni".

Not only that, but how desperate can one be? She's picking a fight with a pregnant girl over a guy who's not even worth it.
