Daepung makes it official: he’s leaving the family’s home. Daepung’s family is shocked that he’s moving in with Boksil. He insists that he’ll “return successfully” (by that, does he mean that he’ll marry Boksil?).
Daepung moves in to Boksil’s house, and he makes himself right at home, ticking off Dr. Dad at the dinner table, and flirting with the housekeeper. Daepung later explains to Dr. Dad that he’s learned to always flatter the cook, because doing so guarantees that he’ll always eat well.
Seonpung’s FIL is ticked off, too – he’s realized that Seonpung has made up with both Eunji and his MIL. More than that, though: it seems that Seonpung and MIL share common interests in art and literature, and they’re starting to get along almost TOO well. They even (unbeknownst to FIL, or even Eunji) went off to a museum together, and then had dinner.
Suhui (carrying Baby Hana on her back) meets Mipung at his school. This opens Mipung up to ridicule from his classmates. Army Dad shows up at the same time, and seeing what’s happening, he starts to leave without telling them. They see him though, and they have dinner together.
Army Dad seems bitter about Mipung’s relationship with Suhui. She tells him off good. As Army Dad leaves, he tells Mipung that she seems to really like him.
The next day, Mipung cuts class to meet again with Army Dad, telling him that he hopes that there’s no misunderstanding. Army Dad says he’s going to take Hana, and let Suhui go her own way. They aren’t even officially married, after all. Mipung (by now, very upset) tells him that Suhui’s been waiting for him all this time – but Army Dad obviously seems to think that she’s become attached to Mipung now.
Back home, Sujin is coming off as the perfect DIL, getting up at daybreak to prepare a grand meal for the family for breakfast. Everyone’s impressed. She then says she has to leave early – the law office has early opening hours – and she says goodbye.
But, she doesn’t go to the law office. She goes to see her niece and nephew, and gets them ready for school. And, later that evening, as she’s coming home from work, she stops by again, and discovers that they need supplies for school. But, as she rushes them out to get the school supplies, she runs right into her MIL. MIL doesn’t sense anything out of the ordinary, but Sujin worries that she just got caught lying to her new MIL.
