What happened to the drama's on channel 41? I tuned in for Iron Empress and was sadly disappointed.
The gossip is that they are no longer broadcasting KBS because of contract disputes.
Please help! I want Iron Empress back!

Yes, it does appear that Chicago’s KBC has lost all its KBS programming - and it’s looking increasingly likely that it won’t be coming back. So far, there’s no sign of what might follow. Rumor has it that KBC is negotiating with the other two major Korean networks (SBS and MBC) but it’s hard to know for sure what’s going on, since everyone’s keeping mum. There are a number of threads in the “General” forum discussing this, check them out.

Hi, tpring, thanks for joining the forum. I know how you feel; these last couple of Mondays and Tuesdays have been uncomfortably empty.
It's looking like you'll have to watch the remaining episodes over the Internet if you want to see them. Unless something big happens relatively soon, we won't get the remaining episodes on Channel 41. I'll be posting summaries of the episodes as I get the chance to watch them myself. So you can at least read what happens if you can't or don't want to watch them online.
P.S. If you do watch online, be prepared that you probably won't get subtitles that are as good as the KBS official subtitles. Good enough, but just not quite the same. On the other hand, you see the episodes in widescreen, which we don't get on analog 41 (it never even occurred to me that they were filmed that way). So that's a plus.
