My wife and I watch The Road Home on KBS America, and we're pretty sure it's ending next week after episode 120. I was curious if anyone has heard what show is taking over its time spot, and if it features any of our familiar favorites? Thanks, and have a nice day!

It's called "Everybody Cha-cha-cha".
From KBS: "Two women become widows on the same day".

Thanks, Soju! It sounds like another sad beginning, but I hope it'll be a good show.

I actually saw a bit of this early this morning, when I tuned in the live feed of KBS1 on their Web site. Of course, I have no idea what was going on, but it looked like a fairly typical Daily Drama: an office with four desks back-to-back in the center, an executive's office, some domestic scenes in a traditional Korean house. You know, the usual .

It's nothing out of the ordinary. CHILWU,THE MIGHTY'S Eric is the male lead. His mom was in MY PRECIOUS CHILD as the two sisters' mom.His cousin is THAT FOOL'S younger sister and her boyfriend is the plastic surgeon from LIKEABLE OR NOT.His grandma played nasty grandma in LIKEABLE OR NOT. So lots of familiar faces.I guess actors always have lots of work in Korea! ;D

If so it will be very hard to enjoy him as the leading man.

I used to be able to log on and get a VOD popup a couple of years back but then it didn't work anymore. And no esubs obviously?

There was a period where it was very difficult (at least for me) to get KBS's VOD player to work properly. It seems to be working better now, except that if you're in the USA, it redirects you to KBS-America if you try to watch the Hi-res shows . There's been some discussion of this in a couple of threads on the General Board. Anyway, if you're logged in to KBS, at the top left of their home page, it says "On Air" (in English!), with a choice of TV or Radio. Hovering your mouse cursor over TV brings up a small menu, with a choice of KBS1 or KBS2. The Daily Dramas are always on KBS1 at 8:25PM Korean time, so to seen them live here, you have to watch very early in the morning. Here in Chicago, that means 6:25AM. In Winter, it's even worse, since Korea doesn't observe Daylight Saving Time, so it changes to 5:25AM when we go back to Standard time. You would have it somewhat better, being in the Eastern time zone, so it would be an hour later. I feel for those on the West Coast: it's the middle of the night there. I was actually surprised at the quality of the video I saw the other day. It was better than I remembered (although still rather small), and of course, no subs. You can also listen to KBS Radio this way, with a choice of five stations.

I just hope this drama is better than the last 2 weekly dramas we received. Where are all the intelligent dramas we used to get like Mom's Dead Upset and The Chill Sisters? I am so sick of the orphan, real mom, adopted mom, poor girl, rich guy, stories. My husband caught a glimpse of last nite's episode and right away when he saw the woman and man at the airport arguing over the dropped perfume bottle, he said, "I guess these 2 will end up together!" UGhhhhhhhhhhhh
