I've been hearing left and right complaints about Mass Effect 3's ending. Criticisms about endings happen often, but this is the first time I've heard an outcry this large. SO large according to a friend Bioware is actually thinking about going back and CHANGING A GAMES ENDING and then sending the patch or make it free DLC.

The Vow
A married couple is in a car accident. Wife loses her memory. Then you follow their struggle with trying to make their marriage work. I thought the movie was OK. I actually felt a bit better about the movie after reading the note about the couple it's inspired by. I also liked that it was shot in Chicago.
The Hunger Games
I haven't read the books but I had a good idea of what it was about. It surpassed my expectations. Much better acted and scripted than some recent movies also based on books. Katniss is someone you root for. Not a movie for kids but something I'd recommend to teens and up.

I saw The Vow with my granddaughter and she enjoyed it also - I thought it was a good script because it pretty much mirrored the actual happenings of that couple. Seldom have I seen a really true scipt based on a book that stayed true to the intent of the book. This one did. I haven't seen the Hunger Game but another of my granddaughter, I have nine LOL, did see it and I got a total synopsis of the story and she is an animated storyteller, gestures, voices etc, and I was transported to the area and the Professionals, etc. It does sound like something the younger than my generation would like - course I am so old Now - I seem to like almost everything. Well unless it is truly bad, graphically sexcual or extremely graphic violence with buckets of blood spilling all over the place. Exception to that was Evil Dead Two - I actually laughed at the scene where gratuitous blood came gushing out for minutes, splashing galolons enough to fill an Olympic swimming pool. It was so so over the top and so well overdone it was total camp ;D. Chain Saw Murders is just blood and guTs and not worth the price of a ticket let alone a box of popcorn. JMHO -

Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol
This movie was recommended to me. The scenes with Tom Cruise on the side of the building and the sandstorm were cool but I wasn't into it overall.
Gone
Jill's sister goes missing. Jill thinks she was kidnapped but no one believes her. She decides to search for her sister on her own. Plot had too many holes.
Contraband
Retired smuggler is forced to do one last job to protect his family. Sound familiar? It should because it's like every other movie Mark Wahlberg does.

Hunger Games no interest in that sappy watered down version of Battle Royale .
The author of Hunger Games claimed she had never seen or read Battle Royale but has now recanted .
The original BR was an amazing groundbreaking film yet was never released here because of Columbine phobia ironically because of HG it has just been given a limited release and just came out on DVD/Blu Ray ..Netflix have it .

HugoNot much to say except that it was a nice movie. And it was true, somewhat. At least, the filmmaker was real, and he made those films, in a huge greenhouse. Most of his footage has been lost through decay of the celluloid. Scorsese wants to encourage the saving of old films.

Man on a Ledge
There's a man on a ledge. He was framed for a crime and sent to jail. He escapes and is out to prove he's innocent. Mostly watched it for Elizabeth Banks.

"There's a man on a ledge"? ROFL. That's the best movie review I've ever read.

"There's a man on a ledge"? ROFL. That's the best movie review I've ever read. Thanks. I try to be as informative and helpful as possible. ;D The Woman in Black [2012]Most of the movie is just Daniel Radcliffe in an old house by himself. It doesn't start to get creepy or scary until the last 30 mins. or so. The older he gets, the more Daniel Radcliffe looks like Richard Armitage. She's Out of My League [2010]A comedy about a nerd who dates a girl out of his league. I watched this movie before but Alice Eve was on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson last week. That made me want to see it again. Speaking of Alice, I didn't know she was in The Raven until the Craig Ferguson interview. Now I want to see it even more. Alice Eve - Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson [April 17, 2012] (Click on Alice Eve at the top of the video and it'll forward to her interview.)
