Thanks for the support and info.
The meeting had to rescheduled until 5/06 so if you have a chance to write a letter there is still time.
I will definitely let you know the outcome. If anyone knows how long this board has been active I would appreciate you letting me know.

Mr. Bae, the board has been in existence since at least 2003, when Yellow Handkerchief aired on KBC. It was started as a goodwill enterprise by a translator at your station named Michael Han (I don't know all the shows he worked on, but I know he did Dae Jang-geum and Who's My Love.) I became a member late in 2003, and I don't know which current moderators were on the board when it started, but I believe it may have been moderators Soju and JP Paulus, and possibly Knov1.
If you have any other questions, let us know.

i just e-mailed a video letter to Mr. Bae for Comcast to see.
Nothing fancy, just my thoughts on how I have been watching KBC longer than Comcast (1995 vs. Comcast in 2003, when i got married), how they got rid of AZN, and how Polivision has its own channel, even though it started on KBC! (My wife & i remembered seeing the sign off just before Jang Geum)
Hopefully something will happen!

On behalf of KM Communications, I want to thank you for the recent support letter that you sent to the Comcast Cable System on our behalf. Our 15 years of supplying ethnically oriented programming, both taped and locally originated, have helped earn our station a loyal following and the respect and friendship of people such as yourself. I wanted to take this opportunity, not only to say thank you, but also to let you know that we recently met with representatives of Comcast at which we presented our station’s history and our hopes to become part of Comcast’s offering in the Chicagoland area. We feel that the meeting was a productive start to what we hope will be a long and mutually beneficial relationship. We expect to hear back from Comcast regarding possible next steps in the near future. We will of course keep you updated on this matter. Again, thank you for your support and friendship.
Sincerely,
Scott Bae Donald Bae Vice President VP Marketing KBC-TV KM Communications

I do, Katie34. And I can't even get Comcast in my building (stupid stupid dish network). But anything that helps preserve our local Korean station and its programming is high on my list.

I don't live in the Chicago area, but I did send a letter of support to Comcast.
Any word if Mr. Bae was successful?
