We are not alone. Here is an excerpt of an article from dramabeans: Yoon-ah gained some acting cred with her role in the family drama You’re My Destiny, which started strong and then came under fire as one of the worst dramas in recent memory, although opinions remained favorable for her performance. ( The writing was what turned that drama insane.)Here is the link for the article: link

;D Good work Tinkerbell finding this article. I agree that it was the WRITING not the acting that derailed YAMD. If that's the general opinion, how then can YAMD be described as a high-rated show? I'm confused as to how it got a high rating, if indeed, it actually did. Somewhere on this board is a mention that it was one of the HIGHEST rated shows If so, I really don't understand how?

Like you mentioned soapygrams, were the numbers really true or exaggerated? The Korean viewers who loved this drama were all very VERY sorry. !Good one Kathleen! ;D

Was this actually popularity ratings, or were the pollsters merely somehow recording the number of tv's that were tuned in? Although I for one have lost interest in the story, I have not missed an episode. (Why? I really don't know).

Although I for one have lost interest in the story, I have not missed an episode. (Why? I really don't know). I am referring to something that was posted here SOMEWHERE on our board about it being highly rated, so I have no idea how that rating was measured? I know Daughters-In-law was rated highly by the end and Mom's Dead Upset was also a favorite. Both of them were much better dramas than YAMD, I think we would all agree to that. As to why you are still watching . . . try that very useful word ADDICTION - lol - I find myself in the same situation, although if I happen to miss an episode due to other events happening, I don't become undone. I can always read the spoilers if I really feel the need to do so. Take heart, the end is in sight! ;D

I'd be real curious to read translations of posts to KBS's own discussion page about this show. It would tell us what actual Koreans felt about the show. From what I've heard, they can be pretty savage if they don't like something.
