Hello I am new to this INTERNET writing/posting stuff. I am not Asian or Korean and can only watch drama's with English sub-titles, I wanted to write about Mr. Choi Soo Jong and how very much I enjoy his work and congratulate him for all the enjoyable hours watching his drama's. I discovered him in Emperor Wang Gun (spelling?) and from that time on have followed any and all of his work the last being Korean Ghost stories. Most of all I admire Mr. Choi Soo Jong for being the person he seems to be, a very kind and wonderful family man and a marriage that also seems to be on solid ground. This is not to common in actors, I feel due to their large EGO'S- they all want to be Stars but ACTING is just to much work-Agree ? thank you for letting me express my thoughts and if Mr. Choi Soo Jong by some miracle READS any of this God Bless and have a happy and healthy Life and good luck in your current endeavor Studying English. I await your next acting job eagerly to appear on Channel 41 Chicago .

Hi teacher Wang..just read your message - thanks for the welcome and yes, it is a commute of 9 hours when i make this trip a couple times a year to the netherlands-it is Tuesday already 3.46 AM in Europe ,oh I noticed we are almost same age. Bye for now must get some sleep. have a nice day
You're lucky to be in Chicago where many K-dramas are aired every week. Here in NYC and NE Pennsylvania, we see only two which is frustrating for an addict like myself.
I too am a fan of Choi Sujeong. His acting is always enthusiastic and he holds character right up to the end which I think can be hard in some of these looong dramas. Don't be surprised if he reads what you wrote. They are very interested in their American audience and some of the shows' producers even seek our opinions from time to time.
I hope you keep watching and look forward to your future posts.

Hello Puppy, thanks for your message and sorry to hear that as an addict, ha ha you don't get all the drama's It would be great if the actors actually read our comments about them as it is difficult to get any info from the TV stations as to where to contact via letter or E-mail our favorite Korean actors. I hope to speak with you again via this media. but I will be traveling the next few months after tomorrow the 18th March and will not have a computer available (can you believe that in this age of electronics?? but will certainly catch up as soon as possible. I am enjoying this but since I am new at it I find it hard to find this site again but will learn I am sure. Thanks again Puppy for your response. I wish you a happy and healthy life,
I myself am a huge fan of Choi Su Jong. It was his acting that captured my interest one night a couple of years ago. I was home alone ,depressed (from a miscarriage),when I found myself flipping through channels.Something drew me to this actor in a foreign show on channel 41. I was hooked by his acting! I really have to say that he started me on my hobby of watching K-Dramas. I believe that watching him as well as these dramas helped me out of my depression. Thank you Choi Su Jong!Looking forward to more of your work. Hope to see him soon.
I love my Korean dramas!DJY has always been my fav!
Hello to all you fans that post on this board, I am Jolson 1933 and have just arrived in the Netherlands(Holland) from Chicago. It is 2 in the afternoon and got here yesterday so am fighting Jet Lag -hopefully will be awake in next couple days. Thanks for your messages which I just read and am not to surprised to find so many Chio Soo Jong fans-I notice each one of you spells his name different but I did hear from a Korean person that the way I have it is correct or at least one of the correct ways to spell it. When I let Chicago Ch.41 was still only showing Heavens Fate-it has not kept me interested because other than the 3-4 older actors the cast is not to impressive with their acting skills or are we simply so spoiled by our favorites of thepast drama's we now no longer get? has anyone gotten any new news in regard to what lies ahead for us in chicago- that Arirang is so boring and the shows hosts-not to be anything to be enjoyed as we were used to on the original show. Glad to be in touch again but my eyes are closing from jet lag so will sign off here and in couple days join you again for any news- a very happy New Year to all.
respected mr.Choi Soo Jong !my name is sabina.i am from azerbaijan.i am 26.i am your an old baku fun.i would like to connect with you personally.i am on the facebook too.my e-mails-1)firstname.lastname@example.org 2)email@example.com my skype-sabina12345638
Hi, sabina--Welcome to the forum and thanks for joining us. We have several members from outside the US but you're the first I know of from your part of the world. Very cool that you found us and joined.
Things have been kind of quiet here lately because KBS cut off the supply of its Korean TV shows to several of the largest US markets including Chicago. It was a bad decision and made a lot of people angry and unhappy. We're hoping that changes but for now we're limited to watching some series online.
If you look in the "Off Air" section there are boards for Emperor of the Sea and Dae Joyoung. You might find some things there that interest you. Those boards tend to be more about the stories than the actors but there might be some Choi info or photos you'd like.
Anyway, we're glad to have you and hope you keep visiting.
