Oh, at the end of tonight's episode of MDLT they flashed up a thank you for watching message as the credits were rolling. Guess that's it.... if it is, this little ditty was something else and it still has me confused somewhat; tonight's episode turned out sad. Now I'm wishing it had more to it to tie up the loose ends.

Maranyc, If I were computer savvy, I would have started a NY/NJ message board. But alas I am computer defficient, , and so I depend on the kindness of my fellow k-drama fans from Chicago! ;D

I have cable in NYC and in Pike County where I work, maranyc. I came across this board about 3 years ago and never left it. I have researched other boards and while they all have something to recommend them, this one is the sanest and least confusing. So I tolerate being behind or ahead of Chicago as far as episodes go.
If anybody starts a NY/NJ/PA board, I'll probably join but stay here as well. I never run out of things to say about K-dramas!

Deb, If you're addicted to all things Korean -- which I am now, there are so many Korean Restaurants in Bergen County -- my favorite is in Palisades Park, and a Korean Spa in Palisades Park too! I'll PM you, so as not to bore everyone with the info -- if you want more info!

Hi, New York and New Jersey folks! As a former New Jerseyan, I'm glad to see you all here. You are very welcome. However, some confusion has arisen and I think we might need to discuss how to resolve it best for all of us.
As you know, this is a Chicago-based board for the discussion of dramas as they are broadcast locally (in Chicago) on Channel 41. But, as witnessed in this thread, with y'all's participation, there can be a decided drift toward discussion of *your* local broadcasts. This is understandable, as you say you don't have your own local board, but I think we need to address it. It's getting to be a bit of a problem for Chicago readers; a local user has written to me to explain the confusion over just what we're talking about and what's going on. This user said that it wasn't clear who was writing from where and why they were talking about things she didn't know about.
I'm not sure how to handle this, but I think a good way to go would be for one of our NJ/NY users to start a thread on the General Board (at the bottom of the home page) for discussion of *your* local interests and discussion of Korean dramas. I don't really see a downside to it: you'll have a place to talk about things that matter to you, and we can keep separate the things that are not Channel 41-related, to the clarification of many.
Any objections?

P.S. I wanted to add that I don't mean you shouldn't participate in discussions that aren't geography-bound! Mercy, no. Please post away on those. Just please bear in mind that your hosts and most of your fellow board enthusiasts are in Chicago.

I think that's a good idea, Lucy. Not being Chicago-based, I too get confused when the dramas don't overlap. Right now, The Road Home replaced YAMD not My Precious You, and who knows what will replace MDU which will be ending here shortly.

As a new member here watching on WMBC I would be thrilled if there was a dedicated thread to discuss the dramas we are currently watching. I have been monitoring the California board for years but it is usually two weeks ahead of NYC and I don't like spoilers....there are a few NYC/NJ/PA people there, I think, so maybe we could post on there if this gets underway....
puppy, I think MDU goes 66 episodes......I really got into it......after almost a year of DJY....
