They have extended the conversion deadline to June 10,2009. In the meantime try to get a basic cable which will certainly improve the picture transmission and also cover more channels. Good luck.

Hi Everyone!!! I do not have cable but I am wondering if I am still going to see this channel through this new dtv converter thingy does anyone know ??? I am sooooo hooked on these soaps I would hate to miss the endings :-[ Please Help At least five years ago I called COMCAST and asked for their lowest rate. They quoted something stupid like $26. I told them that I had a friend who paid less than $10 a month. "Well" said COMCAST, that's a very low rate and you won't get many channels" I didn't care... the only reason I got it was my network connectins would be clearer. The majority of my TV viewing is CH41 ...but for some network programs I use cable. STEP 2. - I have a dear friend who suggested I get a 'switch box' We went to Radio Shack or some such store. He advised this ABC switch box. A is for cable, B is for regular network... and I'm clueless as to what the C is for. I never use it. STEP 3 - When I want to watch cable, using my remote control I go to the section where you can chose CABLE or TV. And that's it. When I want to watch CH41, I just return to the TV selection and push button B. So for less than $10 a month, I have cable. I just cannot justivy paying $30 a month to watch TV. I hope this helps. :)

Be sure your converter box has an "Analog Passthrough". Some information about how the digital tranformation will affect WOCH/KBC can be found here.
