I Never got to see this as Comcast would have dropped dead before considering Korean Programming at that time . Still i have some questions (1)What is this about ???im thinking it must be the Choe'e Generals but which ones ?as their rule lasted 100 or so years . (2)Who is the Archfiend ?what is his name ?why is he an arch fiend ? (3)What does Romance Of The Three Kingdoms which took place in another country some 900 years before this have to do with AOW . (4)What is the plot ?,Story Line ?
Sorry for my ignorance but it has been a chore to dig up info on this so i figured i would just pop the question ,any info would be much appreciated .

The only question I can answer is #2. The Archfiend is Li Ui Min. He was called Archfiend because he did a necessary thing and killed the king (already deposed first, and in exile, IIRC). I don't remember why the king had to go. Ui Min wept at his audacity (or his sin, or crime) at committing regicide, too. IIRC, at the beginning there are 3 simple soldiers who swear brotherhood together. They become powerful. (So much happens!!) Li Ui Min does a sword dance that's amazing; so many athletic leaps. His wife takes bribes after he gains power. Very embarrassing. He's played by Li Duk Wa (sp.?).

Many Many thx cause i read a History Of Korea where Choe Chung Hon was given the title Archfiend because of his penchant for burying people alive . So this helps . I heard KBS are going to put this on the e store so ill start getting it in 6 episode blocks (you get some kinda deal like free shipping )when that great day arrives . Than i can plug that gaping whole in my life at last .

yeah you know all these posts about Wang Gun and AOW kinda make me feel like a missed the last bus . Still i can blame Comcast for finally figuring out (1)Asian's watch tv too (2)Asians make drama's (3)other races can enjoy them too . how many years did it take them to figure this out ,9 years . good news is even if i get this than ill glob on to something else i missed so the gaping whole will remain .

Age of Warriors and Wang Gun were so good that I'd watch them again. Maybe others would too?
Is it cheaper to show them again, I wonder? I guess all the participants have to get paid again, if their contracts say so.

Yeugh. I hate dubbing, too. It never seems quite right to me. Everyone tells me I'm a fusspot, but really, you lose the original inflection and voice casting, everything. On the other hand, in Italy until late in the 20th century they dubbed ALL the voices (in Italian) because they didn't want to modify their film studios to do live recording. Therefore, they would commonly give people other voices, if they thought the "voice casting" should be different than the "person casting"--sort of a live animation technique. If you listen to the voices on those films, they seem to be weirdly disconnected from the person speaking, and this is why.
$10 for EWG? Hmm. I wonder if that was pirated? LOL.

Oh for sure it was . Back to dubbing ,i used to be a huge Spaghetti Western fan (the music had a lot to do with it )anyway i hated the dubbing ,some of the minor classics have been released with the option of subtitles .

I believe some of the spaghetti westerns were always dubbed because some of the actors spoke only English and other spoke only Italian, so they'd dub in the parts that didn't fit for the country they aired in.

One of the all time great film titles was "YOU ARE A CARRION AND I WILL KILL YOU " Sadly the film didnt match ,this low budget epic looked like it was shot in the park down the street from Cinnecitta Studios and on a budget of 20 bucks .
