Okay, so new DIL is an orphan and poor. She's MIL's company's best designer. Their customers love her. "You can't work" says MIL, sneering. FIL says "Our company is in trouble, so we're having a customer and his wife and the artist over for dinner [so they can rescue our company]." MIL says to DIL "Cook dinner. Rake the leaves in the yard. (?!?) Wash the blankets. (Huh?)" Who can cook dinner and rake the bloody leaves?? No help in the kitchen, no supervision? Isn't SB an inexperienced cook? Did SB even get a chance to eat? About the laundry, who washes all their blankets at night in the winter? aigu, it's all nuts.

She's wacko alright! So besides "Draw my bath", make kimchi using 100 heads of cabbage, flower arrangement, golf and English lessons, cook the meals, rake the leaves, and wash the blankets, she doesn't like her hair or cloths either. The frozen blankets should be nice and cozy. Can this story get anymore ridiculous?

Why should Mrs. Kang be save when she has no redeeming quality? She is an abuser, a selfish, selfcentered person. Okay, Miork abandon her child that's despicable, but she istrying to make up, she should be given a little chane to be a mother but her adopted parents should have the sayso, they were the once to give her love and a family.

I am now of the opinion that not only is MJ - WACKO - I think Sabby is also WACKO. This is the first time that I have missed a few episodes and just don't care . . LOL . . how the heck this show came in with such a high rating in Korea is a mystery to me; unless a LOT of MILs out there wish they could act the same way MJ does? I'm hoping the next daily drama is a lot better - I'm not sure there is one that would be worse?? At least, I sure hope there isn't . .

The frozen blankets should be nice and cozy. Can this story get anymore ridiculous? It was 150 heads of cabbage, as I recall. One hundred of them were for charity, because MIL wanted to do something charitable with her "friends" and only 50 were for the family. Did MIL do anything at all? She waited until her friends were there to do any work. No other MIL has been this twisted.

She keeps blaming Saebyeok for what her son does. How can she do that? Is her son spineless and brainless? Why does she give him so little credit?

That show also featured a scene with a kitchen full of cabbages the heroine was supposed to Kimchee-ify. [EDIT] But it was her sister, Jaehi, who was the most twisted of all.

Well, if you constantly abuse someone and the abusee can walk away or defend him/herself but chooses not to, that's the greenlight for the abuser to continue doing it.
LOL@kimchee-ify!!!

In a sich kind of way, adult abusers NEED their victims and vice-versa.
When MIL dissed Subin after the engagememnt break-up, Subin, usually relentless when she wants something (someone) just walked away after a bit. Sabby doesn't. She takes it and asks for more. Maybe that's her claim to power. No matter what MIL does, she refuses to fold. She marries Hosae in the wrong wedding dress, throws cabbage at her SIL, tells MIL in effect, I know you don't like me but I don't care, I'm just as stubborn and here to stay. YahYahYah!
I wonder what kind of a MIL she'll be.

What a sick relationship she has with her son. You'd think she was competing for a lover. I guess now that she's "sick", she'll have Hosae and everyone else wrapped around her little finger. I'm sure Sabby's warped devotion will get more intense too.
