I was amused, by the way, to see the repeated reference to "grape wine" in the article about Mr. Kim. Here in the States, the default wine is grape, so we only mention the type of fruit used if it is NOT grape. Otherwise, it's just "wine"--cabernet, chardonnay, pinot--these tell you the type of grape, but why mention the grape itself? LOL. It's good to remember that other people have different points of view when they think of something like wine or tea or I don't know, cake...
Bo
PS - I am NOT asking why the guy in the article was mentioning "the grape itself"--that's a rhetorical question. IHI.

Prince Chuckles and his funny friends celebrate 60th birthday By Daily Mail Reporter Last updated at 2:10 AM on 13th November 2008
Prince Charles was given many, many happy returns last night at the comedy gala to celebrate his 60th birthday.
The heir to the throne burst out laughing as Jon Culshaw congratulated him on 'finally qualifying for the Government's winter fuel allowance'.
The television comic was one of the star turns at the New Wimbledon Theatre in South London. Enlarge A barrel of laughs: Prince Charles, his wife the Duchess of Cornwall, and Prince Harry join the performers on stage

The show, which will be broadcast on ITV1 on Saturday night, went down a storm with the prince, his wife the Duchess of Cornwall, and Prince Harry - something of a joker himself.
Comedy legends such as Robin Williams, John Cleese, Rowan Atkinson, Eric Idle and Joan Rivers performed.
Stand and deliver: Comics Rowan Atkinson and Joan Rivers entertain the Royals
The royal party arrived to a fanfare and took their seats three rows from the front as Cleese, acting as master of ceremonies in a wheelchair accompanied by a couple of scantily clad nurses, opened proceedings - calling the future king an 'old fool'.
He also apologised for decades of Royal Variety Performances on behalf of the show-business community to Charles and his 'long suffering family'. Que? Manuel (Sachs) gets his usual treatment from Basil Fawlty (Cleese)

Andrew Sachs, who was at the centre of the BBC obscene telephone call row, made a brief appearance dressed as Manuel in a Fawlty Towers sketch with Cleese.
He crept on to the stage with a glass of water before being chased off by his old comedy partner with a walking stick.
Charles couldn't hide his mirth as Williams asked whether Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin was the 'love child of Ronald Reagan and Posh Spice'.
And Camilla wiped her eyes during a skit featuring This Morning hosts Phillip Schofield and Fern Britton. Charles, Camilla and Harry arrive at the New Wimbledon Theatre

The couple were shown conducting a fake interview with an expert in ageing who was offering advice to a viewer 'called Charles who was kept constantly busy helping his mother run the family business and making biscuits in his spare time'.
A stunning finale involved 12 ballerinas, five 'cosmic sausages', a 30 piece orchestra, 15 chorus girls, a marching band, 16 Grenadier Guards and an opera singer. The show will be broadcast on Saturday 15th November at 8.35pm and 10.20pm on ITV1. It sounds hilarious! Thank you so much for stopping by and sharing your cute video with us. Hope to see some more from you soon.

Cosmetic surgery addict injected cooking oil into her own face
A Korean woman addicted to plastic surgery has been left unrecognisable after her obsession led her to inject cooking oil into her face. (Telegraph.co.uk) Last Updated: 1:16PM GMT 11 Nov 2008 Hang Mioku
Hang Mioku before cosmetic surgery ruined her appearance Photo: Saigo-Sinopix / Rex Features Hang Mioku, now 48, had her first plastic surgery procedure when she was 28; hooked from the beginning she moved to Japan where she had further operations - mostly to her face.
Following operation after operation, her face was eventually left enlarged and disfigured, but she would still look at herself in the mirror and think she was beautiful.
Eventually the surgeons she visited refused to carry out any more work on her and one suggested that her obsession could be a sign of a psychological disorder.
When she returned home to Korea the surgery meant Hang's features had changed so much that her own parents didn't recognise her.
After realising that the girl with the grossly swollen face was indeed their daughter her horrified parents took her to a doctor. Once again the possibility that Hang had a mental disorder was raised and she started treatment.
However, this treatment was too expensive for her to keep up and she soon fell back into old ways.
Amazingly, she found a doctor who was willing to give her silicone injects and, what's more, he then gave her a syringe and silicone of her own so she could self-inject.
When her supply of silicone ran out Hang resorted to injecting cooking oil into her face.
Her face became so grotesquely large that she was called "standing fan" by children in her neighbourhood - due to her large face and small body.
As Hang's notoriety spread she was featured on Korean TV. Viewers seeing the report took mercy on her and sent in enough donations to enable her to have surgery to reduce the size of her face.
During the first procedure surgeons removed 60g of foreign substance from Hang's face and 200g from her neck.
After several other sessions her face was left greatly reduced but still scarred and disfigured.
And it would seem that even Hang can now see the damage she has done; she now says that she would simply like her original face back.
It's the worst case I've seen so far. It's scary. I hope good doctors will help get her appearance back to normal. Good luck!

tinkerbell, That's a very sad story. Life is very fragile indeed. For me, I thought this couple were soul mates and they were meant to be together in life and death. That sounds superstitious, but it might be true, hehe. ;D

Peru offers bald toothless dog to Obama family
(Telegraph.co.uk) November 11, 2008, 13:21
The government in Peru has offered Barack Obama and his family a rare breed of dog after the president-elect promised his daughters a new puppy for the White House.
The uncommon South American breed is hairless and hypoallergenic. It is precisely for this reason that the dog has been offered to Obama as his older daughter Malia, 10, is allergic to most breeds.
The bald, jagged-toothed canine also comes with a rich history.
It dates back to around 750 A.D. in Peru. Some theories point to the dog being used for trade between Peru and Mexico for textiles. The Spanish may have also used it for food.
While there are both coated and hairless breeds, the Incans used to call them in their native language of Quechua 'Ca-Allepo' or 'dog without vestments'.
When the Spanish conquered Peru, legend has it that the dogs were found in Inca homes among orchids and the Spanish gave them the name 'Perros Flora' or 'flower dog'.
Over the years the name has stayed close to the original as the dog is known throughout Europe and the United States as the Peruvian Inca Orchid.
With the announcement that Obama would be getting a dog for his daughters, countless offers and suggestions for particular dogs have poured in. However, it could be the South American hairless hound that could be roaming the gardens of 1600 Pennsylvania soon.
The dog is unique and cute. IMO, it will be a good companion. What do you think?
Top notes: Origami artist shows off his amazing creations from one dollar bills
By Daily Mail Reporter Last updated at 11:22 AM on 07th November 2008
You wouldn't have thought origami was a particularly expensive hobby - or one which involves a detailed knowledge of spacecraft.
But for artist Won Park, it's a bit of both.
The paper-art master twists and folds his creations entirely from one dollar notes and has fashioned models of some of Hollywood's most famous spaceships. carp
Small scale: A Koi carp made from a single $1 bill
Among his designs are fantastically intricate replicas of the Millennium Falcon, Tie Fighters and X-Wing jets from the Star Wars films and Captain Kirk's USS Enterprise from Star Trek.
The talented - and extremely patient - artist has also created wonderfully detailed models of koi carp, scorpions and a spider. star wars
Paper chase: A recreation of the Millennium Falcon evading Tie Fighters from Empire Strikes Back. The Millennium Falcon was made from three $1 bills
The 38-year-old, from Hawaii, took up origami when he was just five and was taught to fold simple models by his mother.
'As I got more advanced in my folding skills I started to fold my own creations. Then, in junior high school, I started to fold dollar-bills and was hooked on that ever since,' he said. rex
Money spider: It took two $1 bills to create this spider enterprise
Star bucks: A tiny replica of Captain Kirk's USS Enterprise
All of his creations are simply amazing but I like the Koi carp the most. It looks real and wonderful. tinkerbell, the historical ruins in Lopburi are Thailand's hidden treasures. I guess turning 60 is better than NEVER turning 60. kekekekeke bkatcha. (By Grabthar's Hammer, I do not like your hat.)
That Peruvian dog is adorable, nene, but people would probably laugh at its hairlessness and make it feel bad and who needs a depressed first dog? Seriously, it's cute as heck. My dad always wanted a Basenji, which he said was an African dog that did not shed. I don't know about the not shedding part, but I found a photo in my Westminster Kennel Club Winners 1997 (seriously, the book is purple), and it certainly is a handsome breed. They say it's a "small short haired hunting dog from Africa" that is elegant, graceful, full of poise and inquiring alertness, intelligent and independent, and it is affectionate and quiet. Wait, maybe that's what my dad liked about it--it apparently does not bark. Sorry, Mr. President, my mistake. IHI.

jinju, Thank you so much for helping me out. I found two more pictures of HXM at his birthday party. Can you believe he's already 31? He definitely looks younger than his age.
I'm glad we'll be able to see him a lot more in 2009. Thank you so much for those links.
I just finished BV and I was a little disappointed with the ending. From now on, I'll have more time to watch Royal Tramp. I like HXM in this comedy a lot. He's so funny. I agree with you that the little boy was great. Do you know his name? He's gonna be a big star in the future. Btw, have you finished it yet?
I'm very excited about the new movie "Australia". It's the much-anticipated romantic action-adventure movie starring Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman. WooHoo! Everything looks fantastic!
Australia The Movie
Australia is an epic and romantic action adventure, set on the explosive brink of World War II. In it, an English aristocrat, Lady Sarah Ashley (Nicole Kidman) travels to the faraway continent where she meets a rough-hewn local (Hugh Jackman) and reluctantly agrees to join forces with him to save the land she inherited. Together, they embark upon a transforming journey across hundreds of miles of the world’s most beautiful yet unforgiving terrain, only to face the bombing of the city of Darwin.
With his new film, Luhrmann is painting on a vast canvas, creating a cinematic experience that brings together romance, drama, adventure and spectacle.
In addition to Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman, Australia stars a wealth of Australian talent including David Wenham, Jack Thompson, Bryan Brown and David Gulpilil. It also introduces to the screen, Brandon Walters as Nullah, the boy who steals Lady Ashley’s heart.
Australia has been passionately created by Oscar nominated Baz Luhrmann, one of the world’s leading directors with production and costumes designed by two time Oscar winner, Catherine Martin. These talented Australians have collaborated previously through their production company, Bazmark Inq to create such masterpieces as Moulin Rouge, Romeo + Juliette and Strictly Ballroom.
Movie Locations The epic romantic adventure event film that is Australia was filmed on location in Western Australia, the Northern Territory, Queensland and New South Wales.
The dramatic and rugged landscape of Western Australia’s east Kimberley region is one of the film’s featured locations. Much of the World War II action was shot in Darwin, in the Northern Territory. Other scenes were shot at Bowen on Queensland’s north coast; at Vaucluse on Sydney Harbour; and in the historic town of Camden, an outer Sydney suburb.
Northern Territory Queensland Western Australia New South Wales Movie Themes - Experience Australia
The storyline and locations for Australia have the capacity to deliver powerful messages about the beauty and diversity of the country as well as its European and Aboriginal history. The storyline also supports the positioning of Australia as a transformational, adventurous and romantic destination. (source: mediaman.com)

Are you interested in eco-friendly products made of bamboo? Here are some of them.
Eco-Friendly BamGoo Car Is Meal on Wheels For Pandas Posted by Gizmodo US Edition at 6:15 PM on November 4, 2008
Researchers at Kyoto University recently displayed an eco-friendly electric car made almost entirely out of bamboo, one of the fastest growing materials available. The single-seat "BamGoo" weighs about 60kg, can only run about 50 km on a charge, and probably won't pass any safety tests, but it sure is cute! Let's just hope that there aren't any wandering pandas about. [Daylife] I'm looking for a new car and I think I can afford this one, hehe.
Asus Goes Green With Aussie Launch Of Its Bamboo Series Laptops Posted by Kym Weathersten at 9:00 AM on November 14, 2008
AsusBambooSeries.jpgTaiwanese computer brand Asus launched its "Green Collection" on Wednesday night at a fashion event in Sydney. While I'm not sure I understand the link between fashion and an environmentally friendly computer range (Were the copious amounts of hairspray used, non-carcinogenic? Or perhaps it was an allusion to the typical model's diet... I mean air is natural, right?), there's no denying the Bamboo Series was the best looking, and most interesting, thing there- even if it did remind me of my parents' '70s linoleum kitchen.
This eco-friendly notebook is definitely for jinju. It looks great. She likes bamboo forests, so she may like anything related to bamboo. Bamboo Helmet from Roof is for Eco Petrol-Heads Posted by Addy Dugdale at 9:10 PM on August 24, 2007
We've already covered denim crash helmets and now here's a bamboo version from Roof. The shell is constructed entirely from bamboo fibres and has passed the E22-05 safety requirements needed in Europe.
The cost of this limited edition helmet is $378 (£189) and it's available in the UK. There, I managed to use the words wood, helmet and head without even the tiniest bit of innuendo. Are you proud of me, or just very disappointed? [Treehugger] When I saw this bamboo helmet, I immediately thought of you. I think you'll look great wearing this helmet while riding your motorcycle. You can wear it with confidence because it already passed safety requirement. Anyhow, don't wear it near pandas, hehe.

HXM With His Birthday Cakes (yifei-liu.com)
They looked delicious. I want to have some, hehe. I'm glad to see HXM and Crystal in the pic above. They looked very happy together. I wondered what Crystal gave HXM for his birthday.
Surprise! Surprise! We'll be able to see HXM's new movie 'Fit Lover' earlier than we thought.
"Fit Lover" set to screen in China CCTV
A new romantic film "Fit Lover" hits the big screen November 28th. The movie ushers in the "New Year" season for Chinese cinema.
"Fit Lover" recounts the love stories between one woman and twelve men. The heroine, played by Karen Lam, is an attractive professional. She has twelve suitors who come from all walks of life. The top male stars of the Chinese mainland joined the cast: Deng Chao, Fan Wei, Huang Lei, Huang Xiaoming, Lu Yi and Tong Dawei.
The movie is intended to explore a new frontier for romantic comedies.
I'm looking forward to seeing this romantic comedy. It's gonna be another good movie because HXM is in it, hehe. Can't wait. Shin Hyun Joon Gets Cameo Role in Star’s Lover Upon Choi Ji Woo’s Invite
November 17, 2008 by coolsmurf
Shin Hyun Joon will make a cameo appearance in SBS Star’s Lover, playing the son of a departmental store tycoon that tries to woo Choi Ji Woo’s character.
Shin Hyun Joon’s cameo Star’s Lover was made possible upon the invitation of Choi Ji Woo with whom he has acted with in Stairway to Heaven a couple of years back. In the drama, Shin Hyun Joon’s character books the whole department store for Lee Ma Ri (Choi Ji Woo) in order to woo her.
But Lee Ma Ri ignores him and he is later chased out of his family by his tycoon father for affecting the business. He is basically playing a “tragic” role again but without dying. Although the scenes amounted to only a few minutes, it took him the whole day to film the scenes on the 15th that saw him travel between Incheon International Airport and the departmental store.
Choi Ji Woo felt really apologetic to Shin Hyun Joon for taking up his time for the day and expressed she will find a opportunity to thank him for this efforts. Star’s Lover will debut on SBS after Painter of the Wind finishes.
Wow! This is another good news. Choi Ji Woo is very nice to invite Shin Hyun Joon to be her special guest star in this new series. Though it's a short reuninon, I'm very happy to see both of them again. They had good chemistry in Stairway to Heaven. WooHoo! I found BJYJ's old pictures on Zoom on Bae Yong Joon's blog. Here they are.
