Yes Betz, your suspicions were right about being behind-3 episodes to be exact. I was inquiring about the names of the dramas you had acronymed. I don't even remember the name of the last daliy drama, tho I watched it every night for the last month or so when it got really interesting. Btw, how long have you had a KBC fan club there? Ours is still quite new, less than 2 months I think. Let us know if anything interesting happens out there in your discussion, eh?

Hello, Betz!
I saw your name weeks ago, and recognized it from the EWG board on Yahoo. Great to see you've finally posted here!
Does WYBE have any kind of a dicussion board? I couldn't find one at their web site.

Hello Humble Student - is that a student [read addict] of Korean dramas... LOL or an academic student - thanks for the "gap" difference... only 3 eppys - that's a good thing.... cause any spoilers will be from a couple a days ahead - not weeks of eppys.... Yobo - I did not know how many Chicago was ahead.... so great to know not a big gap... you asked about acronymed shows.... have you not seen Wang Guhn and/or Dawn of Empire ? I heretell they've been aired in Chicago.... and that now Age of Warriors is showing... we may get that in Philly - hope so - when Dawn is finished.... the historical dramas seem to be the same ones in each of U.S. cities but the Korean "soaps" are different in diff cities, we had here So This is Love and To Be With You and now "YH" ! which is best - no comparison... to other Korean soaps... we don't really have a KBC - not sure what KBC is - do you mean KBS?, here in Philly - WYBE channel 35 airs international programming including Korean new, historical drams + soaps.... the station does not have a fan club.... the yahoo/group for EWG & Dawn [the owner is a Philly fan started it oct 02] has many Philly fans, plus fans from all over world... this Chicago fan club, plus of course the Wiz..... and God Bless the KoreanWiz... what would we do with it ! Soju - recognized my name from the EWG Yahoo/grp... yes i'm active ! plus i'm the moderator... i'll continue to post on this board.... usually under the "min-joo" cause it easier for me to reply one "thread" etc.... but i do read the others..... i do not think WYBE has a fan club... it is not a Korean station etc... are you from the Philly area? to any and all fans..... is everyone on this board from the Chicago area.... am i the only lone "easterner" and also wanted to know - is YH shown in Chicago with English subtitles ? are the other Korean dramas shown in Chicago with english subtitles... BTW - there should be an announcement soon which will go out to any and all fans / forums.... about a party/dinner with guests/entertainment to happen this fall somewhere in the Philly area... so folks who may be visiting Philly will be welcome to attend also... details to follow... it may be a pay in advance event ? catered ? but we're looking to have Korean food - natch.... possibly Korean entertainment.... fashion demo... guest speakers from Broadcast industry... Korean embassy.... plans are just beginning now, but an open announcement to see what dates in october or novermber might be good.... sorry - this has been soooooooo wordy eyegoooooooo ! i'll make next posts much shorter... cheers, it's very very hot here Betz in Philly

Hello to any and all fans..... is everyone on this board from the Chicago area.... am i the only lone "easterner" and also wanted to know - is YH shown in Chicago with English subtitles ? are the other Korean dramas shown in Chicago with english subtitles... 1. I believe the majority posting here are in Chicago, but we have at least one member from the LA area (mikey). Not sure if there's anyone from Philly. 2. Yes, YH is subtitled, along w/ 3 other Korean dramas on WOCH: Age of Warriors, Love Letter and On the Green Prairie. I have noticed some non-titled dramas aired, too, at various times. Obviously, I don't know what any of them are. Interesting to know about the event in Philly in the fall. Do keep us posted, please! Could be a lot of fun. I love Philly...it's a great town and I'd be delighted for an excuse to return for another visit sometime. Also, please never apologize for a longer post. I go on at times a bit, too, and don't like the thought I need to apologize for that. No one is forced to read anything, afterall! Thanks for joining in, Betz! The more the merrier! Jade Eyes
