Soapy, I agree with you. However, I'd bet that the majority of posters on this board will not know who this idol (Cary Grant) of our era is. British born?Archibald Leach?

;D Yep, that's him! I think even our younger posters will know who Cary Grant is/was. There are a lot of old movies shown on various venues on TV and some retro movie theaters. Besides, we have VERY intelligent members, don't we? LOL

All you young whippersnappers who’ve never heard of the legendary actor Cary Grant should immediately rush out and rent the acclaimed Alfred Hitchcock movie “North by Northwest.” It’s a movie with a little of everything: romance, suspense, excitement, and even humor. And some of the scenes (like the crop duster chasing after "Roger Thornhill" (Grant) as he runs though a cornfield, or his struggle for his life atop Mt. Rushmore) are cinema classics. Good summary on the Wikipedia page: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_by_NorthwestFolks, this is a movie even mikey liked - and he's someone who gripes about everything!
