My knowledge of ancient and modern Asian geography is very bad. Does anyone know what city/region of present-day China corresponds to Yangzhou? All I can tell is that it was on the coast and south of Xian (Chang'an). And what about the Korean cities Mujinju and Chunghae? I would have thought they'd be on the west coast of Korea since they're trading with China, but maybe I'm wrong. And what was the capital of Shilla, they keep referring to the imperial city. Was it Sarabel?

Since this is fiction, Yangzhou is kind of a made up site.

Hmmmm
If I’m not mistaken, I’ve seen Yangzhou advertised as a vacation get away on CCTV9 on DIRECTV. Sorry, I can’t tell you where in China it’s located.
I’ll check again to make sure I’m giving correct information.

Jinju0, Thank you for the research work that you did. You're a life saver. When I say I’ll look into it, I REALLY DON’T WANT TO DO THAT. I can’t thank you enough for your help. Origami, You’re a new member and you may want to read some of the other historical boards like The Great King Sejong, Dae Jo Young, etc. It may help in understanding some of the Korean and Chinese history.
