Lucky!! I hear our next new drama is going to be another already aired modern drama. Glad to at least have Yi soon on.

I've been watching this one in northern NJ (Wed/Thurs) after YSS (it repeats on Sat/Sun) and I have to say that YSS loses in the comparison. We've only gotten the first several episodes so far, but I'm hooked. The emotional, moral, and physical misery of the common people and slaves is elaborated to the point where you think it just can't get any worse--then it DOES! When something or someone nice appears on the scene it has great dramatic effect. The characters are around for a while and develop layers of complexity.
I hope everyone gets a chance to see Hae-shin, as it kind of remedies the mild dissatisfaction left behind by YSS.

I'm sorry to hear of YSS being a bit of a disappointment. Does Hae Shin have a fast paced story line (ala AOW) in the early going, or does it seem to be moving more slowly?

Actually the first four episodes of YSS are really good, and they're well paced. It gets progressively less dramatic for a while, but its picking up again around episode 33. I can't compare early Hae-Shin episodes with the early episodes of AOW, since I missed the first dozen episodes of AOW (another great thing about AOW--you could start watching at almost any point and get hooked). All I can say is that HS is a quality drama with good action, an underdog protagonist (so far), and well developed characters.

Thanks for the info Tae'-bi-mama. I've been looking forward to both of these shows, and hopefully we won't have to wait too long for Hae Shin here in Philly.
