Il-Guk's grndfather is one of the most famous street fighters in Korea, Kim Du-Han, Du-Han was also a politician. Du-Han's father was a famous independent movement leader. Il-Guk's mother is an actress. So he is always under some pressure. but he is doing good. Wish him luck. Il-Guk is on his way to stardom. (already very popular though) peace and love

I saw 7th episode last night in korea it's awesome. (I'm a korean in korea... sorry for my poor english always...) It shows great scenes of desert, sea and battle. I'm sure they filmed those scenes in china. Although, the costume and women's hair style is little bit different from other traditional historycal drama, i like it. Also actors and actresses are great, too. I must be hooked this Hae Shin.

Hehe just a passing guest here. I just finished watching Eps. 21 of Hae-shin. I'm a Korean living overseas, and generally I am not too fond of historical dramas, since they tend to get a bit draggy(that's my personal opinion) but Hae-shin really caught my eye. It doesn't really have that old Korean historical drama thing with the never ending close-ups and those dragging moments where you'd just want to forward it all to make some speed. But with Hae-Shin,you constantly get hyped up by the exciting new plot twists and battles. It's basically a love-rivalry-success story. The story is all based around the world of the merchants.(for a change) The scenery is beautiful and well set and the camera and modern filming techniques are far more advanced than any historical drama I've ever seen. Well I don't know how other people think about this drama, but I absolutely think it's one of the best I've seen! (+ I'm such a Song Il Guk fangirl.. >_< I just love him in Hae-shin. *sniff* Poor thing.. Yes, now I'm rattling; just watch the show and you'll understand me.)
Pwewh, so I hoped I have convinced some people to watch this great show! xD

Thanks Chigirl! I mentioned earlier that I attempted to grow a Sulhee beard. It didn't get as far as I would have liked it too, but ID asked me to post a pic awhile back.
