Ok... so it wasn't a truck. But the result was the same... look of horror, loud whizzing sound... and WHAM - a double flip right there on the concrete. It was nothing but absolute divine intervention that the stalker was right there! People gather, they look, they mumble. There she lay, no blood, not even a small bruise, no look of trauma, just this beautiful face framed by beautiful hair. And while most everyone is always tapped into their cell phone, not one person thought to call for an ambulance. Not even dufus. He commits the major wrong act... he moves her, he carries her and crams her in his car. What a guy! And there she quietly lies. Unconcious and beautiful. Very SnowWhiteLike. No insurance forms, no police reports, not even a slight mention of tracking down the renegade motorcycle. And within hours she comes home. WITHIN HOURS! Who writes this stuff?

She truly did look like Snow White, awaiting a kiss from the Prince ... unfortunately, Seon-jerk was all that came forward ! I wish that everyone who suffered such an accident could look that good ... not a hair out of place; no makeup smeared;no bruises;etc.

;D KATHLEEN you ask "who writes this stuff"" - Well, it cannot be the Brothers Grimm since they're dead - but I'm sure they had descendent's - LOL - She'll be fine even if she did not received the usual treatment, you know - the Ringers/IV; did anyone notice that?? Maybe they just ran out for the moment.

Funny post. I think Boknam writes some of it. And as it was happening, I too remember thinking the worst thing to do is move someone who's been struck down like that. They do it over and over. And couldn't they have at least found the make up artist from DJY to put some abrasions on her cheekbones? Or let her wear an eyepatch… or have her arm in a sling for an episode or two?

Funny thread!
I'm surprised there aren't more road accidents. They NEVER look when they pull their cars over.

Yes puppy! LOL, They give the 'look' then do that fierce wheel turning action without a glance.
The part where they were only looking and no one thought to call boggled me too, Kat, but we know they have to set up the Grand Hero Seonjae to rescue her.

I don't know if any of our posters here have ever been in Korea and driven there but on the Philly board, quite a few have lived in Korea and they say the driving portrayals of the driving are SPOT-ON One of the ladies I've met in CA, said she was on a bus and kept her rosary beads clutched in her hand all the way from the dockside to where she got off in downtown Seoul LOL. She had just gotten off ship, she was a radio operator on a commercial freighter, which had just gone through some very heavy seas and storms, and she said the traffic was a whole lot scarier than the storm. Guess, they DO just pull over like that! And I thought Chicago traffic was bad ...

Yes, "the look" brooklyn. That always comes first. I forgot about "the look."
And they park anywhere. Sua and Seonjae just pull up in front of their apartment house and get out. Maybe there's valet service.

Traffic accidents seem to be a recurring theme in many of these dramas and the estranged person just happens to be in the neighborhood to witness it. What are the odds of that.

How about when they pull a car up in front of a house in a narrow alley, then park and block the way?
Also, we see so much traffic on the streets, yet there is no difficulty finding a parking place exactly where one wants to park.

;D Oh Teacher, that's just ANOTHER one of those coincidences - K-dramas are FULL of them ...

Another thing with parking is that all the rich folks houses appear to have garages, yet no one ever parks in them.

It's what I love about these darmas, Soju the sheer cultural differences. We see no garages with a power mower or sno-blower, kids' skate boards, jumper cables, old tires; there's no chatting with your neighbor over the hedge while you wash the car; no ice cream truck ringing its bells. Maybe these things do exist in Korea today but not in its dramas.
And yet, the human dynamics can be sooo similar - love, jealousy, injured pride, greed, etc.
I might groan at the pace of some of the shows but it seems I'll never tire of them.
