Yes, her dad is the total opposite of her mother. He truly wants to see his children be happily married with a person they love. That's why he was angry with Seonjae because he knew his son didn't love Sua and was marrying for money. That's what Mrs. Na wants too, marry for money and prestige.
Sooner or later we begin to understand that love is more than verses on valentines and romance in the movies. We begin to know that love is here and now, real and true, the most important thing in our lives. For love is the creator of our favorite memories and the foundation of our fondest dreams. Love is a promise that is always kept, a fortune that can never be spent............
Yeah, this didn't happen in Chicago yet. Please be careful about spoilers. If you're not sure where we are in Chicago and want to post about some event, ask people in the spoiler thread if they've seen it on our broadcast station.
I edited dinofan's post since everyone says this didn't happen in Chicago yet. Whenever you come across a post that contains spoilers outside of the spolier thread, please PM a mod about it.
I'm leaving this thread open so you can continue to discuss the relationship between Danpung and her father. Please keep the discussion to what's currently aired in Chicago.
Im sorry if this hadnt happened yet over there. Im getting the show a month late and this happened a month ago. I thought I read somewhere that Danpung had broken it off with her fiance. This happened before that. I really love this show. Again im sorry.
I guess it's possible that whatever dinofan was referring to was edited out of what we saw in Chicago, too.
Hmmmm! maybe you are right!! we never know what we have missed !

This is interesting. I know we're at different points in the story but I thought that sooner or later, we all will see all of it just as it comes out of Korea. Do you mean Lucy and Pippi, that individual stations can edit the dramas however they want? That's a bummer.
In PA. we saw ep #94 last night and Chicago is a few ahead.
dinofan, I don't think it was in #90. In #94 Danpung had enough of Doc's pushing the engagement after he insisted she meet with him and his friends. She basically said forget the engagement and even canceled the second fitting on her dress. I would imagine what you saw with Danpung and her father will come up soon. Since I see the show without commercials, nothing is cut out.
this scene happened today.. i LOVE mr na.. his yells but actually care and is so sweet!!! i used to yelling because i am italian. it was such a touching scene. i loved when he said that , he rather her be happy then him and mrs na. at least there is someone who truly cares about his kids happiness, not position in life!
