If anyone wishes to bring a dish they are more than welcome. We will be providing a couple of pizzas and soft-drinks. Being at the church, we do ask that no alcohol be brought.
But don't worry, I assure you it will be fun. Nothing religious, just a bunch of K-drama fans gathering to enjoy each other's company and an episode or two of Dae Jo Young. Any one who has attended a previous gathering will vouch for me that it really is fun.
Also, feel free to bring any Korean items you may have. And... we have some Dae Jo Young posters direct from Korea to give away!
David (aka Kyung Dae Doo)

There is no religious connection to the party. We are being hosted by Pastor Dave and his church is being very gracious to us and allowing us to use their facility. There s a movie theatre size screen to watch the video, and comfortable seats. I do not know what your religion is, this has nothing to do with religion - no one will try to convert you or anything like that. Our drama fan base has members from many varied religions so do not fear. Our Gatherings are for social reasons and to enjoy a Korean drama video and discussion. That's all. ;D Do come and see for yourself. It's a chance to meet other K-drama fans and put faces to the names on the board. Hope to see you there. You're also welcome to bring someone with you if you wish.

;D ;D First, THANK YOU - KAMSA HAMNIDA - to Pastor Dave and the NORTHWEST COMMUNITY CHURCH for their hospitality in hosting the Gathering. It was very nice to see so many of our members there but of course, we did miss Lucy, TheBo, Capt Video, Soju, to name a few - maybe we can get together at another time. I enjoyed seeing folks again and thanks to Teacher for making those great headbands; I intend to keep mine handy so I can wear it again. If not before, hope the weather will cooperate this year and we can meet at Korean Street Festival in August. Thanks again to our host and fellow board members.

Soapygrams, it's as if you were reading my mind. Thank you, Pastor Dave, as always you were the consummate host. This time, beside the refreshments, we were treated to posters of DJY. Mine are already hanging on my home office wall. Thank you.
We had a nice crowd, although I don't think all were board members, so this meant we met some new people. For our next gathering (do you sense that I enjoy these parties?), I'd be happy to make name tags. I think they help in mixing the group and also they prevent the embarassing lapses of memory in remembering names that we should.
Perhaps we'll meet again after King Sejong.

Thanks to Pastor David! We got to visit with some old friends and meet some new ones. Thanks to Teacher for making the headbands-they were fun to wear! And for bringing some magazines to leaf thru and see who we could find. :-)
And enjoy seeing faces from DJY in an episode of The Great Wang Gun-what surprises there were!
(just testing for colors, since the smileys have been replaced by questionmarks today.)
