Wow, that's why I was so lost! I came in late, but when I tuned in I found she had met his parents and whaaa...? I'm about to give up, what with missing the first couple of eps, and now I can't seem to get a handle on things. I couldn't figure out why Yonggi was suddenly so much in love with her, and why. She is so mopey and weepy, and she gives nothing back to him. She's more like an inexplicable object of infatuation at this point. We haven't seen any reason why he's gotten so attached to her.
But I have to say, he sure is one romantic dude. He'd melt my heart!
From Dae Jang-geum: Sun-dol: "Are you trying to dry me up and kill me? Why do you say the same things over and over every day? Rather, come and hit me once! Aigu!" But then: Dr. Lazarus: "By Grabthar's hammer, by the suns of Warvan... You shall be avenged."
how dare you IHI me, bo. But since you called out my "IOI," isn't that the way it often is in K-dramas? People fall deeply in love just because they are the main characters. They have almost no shared experience or evident emotional connection. I like to see why people fall in love instead of just being told that they are in love, and that it's a tragic, life-changing love for the ages, bla-bla-bla.
