It was so sad to see Baehko heart broken that the woman he loves is his in-law and now cannot pursue her!! his uncle kept on asking about danpung, and poor baehko was so upset he kept telling him to leave him alone that he could not talk.. My heart ached for Baekho too PippiBella, so sad. He's such a sweet guy. I hope somehow they get together anyway, they did it in The Bizzare Bunch. It was a similar situation with an adopted child, technically they're not family (by blood).

I think Danpung needs more than a hammer zorro. Baekho is a little dense but I think he also feels unworthy of her. I guess he gets that from his mother because she acts the same way--inferior.

On the money, Tink! Dongji's bad habits rubbed off on her son alright. She pushes him and Dalhyeon around because she can but she wimps out with the ones she thinks are better than she. I don't like her any more, but I still like Baekho.

I agree puppy. I wish she wouldn't yell and hit Baekho and Dalhyeon so much, especially Baekho. When Baekho came home after being locked in the freezer, I thought she was going to hit him then too. If she had, I would have really been annoyed with her.

So you would have been "Annoyed with Dongji"? Join the club! Doesn't Doctor Jealous need his hands to practice? He keeps duking out Baekho so much, I'd like to see him break his hand. His phone texting hand to be precise. Danpung could certainly use the "break".

I'd like to see someone break his face. He gets those flaring nostrils when he's riled up and his lips are like everywhere, augh, just get out of the picture already man.

Ooooohhhh!! Finally Baehko told her how he feels.. he looked so pitiful.. .. but it was so sweet what he told her. she should not get engaged, if she is not sure.. i don't understand these people who say it is ok if you don't love me , you will in time... how do you know that will happen? usually the person who loves first is the one who gets hurt! so if they get married heyonu will be crushed when she does not return his feeling but then it will be blamed on her... Make any sense ? Oooooohh! finally we see some break through between sonya nd D. I wonder if he even understood her saying she loves him in russian ... they look so sweet, and cute together.. can't wait til monday.. this is one of my VERY favorite dramas. it caught me from the beginning and has not let go!!

Most all of us have watched many K-dramas. So we should by now understand that in these stories, the CASTE of being poorer and less formally educated makes a person feel inferior to those who have much more money and/or education. That's one of the reasons for both Dongji and Baekho's "humility", In one of the more recent scenes - Baekho is thinking to himself that he should have gone to school instead of being a goof-off like he was - he is now realizing that he could be in a much better position if he had done that. He is not stupid but he was a real slacker before. Now he is more mature and has grown in his sense of responsibility. Dongji however remembers how many times he goofed off and how much trouble he got into -- so every time something happens, like when he comes home with cuts on his face from getting hit by Dr. Crazy or Songjerk, she thinks he is reverting back to his old bad ways. We know she's wrong but she still thinks of the past and he doesn't explain anything either. In all of the other K-dramas I have seen, the family position and wealth place them in a higher or lower status; those in the lower status think they are not as worthy as those on a higher plane. It's societal. We don't seem to have a problem here in the US EXACTLY LIKE THAT. But most of us cannot afford to live in the style of Donald Trump or Oprah - can we??? That we don't feel inferior to them is a tribute to the American way of "all men are created equal" . . . Just my opinion -

I love it when Baekho practices his English but I can't tell if he's actually back in school or doing it on his own.
The Bongs are the "uppers", I can see that; and Dongji used to be a "lower." Jaebok and his family must be the "middles." In the other dramas I've seen (not many) the middle class seem to live in apartments or in those courtyard houses and the wealthy live in what look like mansions. They always have European-style furniture while the others may or may not.
I wonder, Soapy, why Jaebok, being a professional vet, isn't considered an upper. Vets here certainly are rich if my bills are any yardstick.

They're adorable. It's a shame they couldn't have had more than 3 days though. I noticed it's like that in a number of dramas. Work is so important they have very short honeymoons or none at all.

I thought the honeymoon "morning after" was rather daring for a K-drama, in that they showed that the two of them had enjoyed themselves and were now feeling very intimate.... usually it's more that the couple is embarrassed, or their morning-after is not shown at all. They are so cute and cuddly together, just as you'd expect. The fact that they were singing that song about loving each other together (in Danpung's room at home) was just adorable.
