Most likely they will end up together as the opening credits suggest, but if Jiyeong wasn't good enough for Seonjae's mom, how will Baekho be good enough for Danpung?? Especially since mama likes Dr. Boy so much already?

I felt so bad for jyeong today... everyone is telling her to get over him, forget him.. it is easier said than done.. if they were together since college, she waited for him when he went into the army or something like that.. they were really close and they were going to get married.. she needs some time to grieve and cry.. baehko, will be surprised to find out that his precious brother in law is the JERK who broke jyeong's heart and soul... and soon find out what a witch his step sister is....i know he knows she is mean but doing what she did is worse... i hate seeing seongae pretending to feel bad about jyeong.. it is so annoying... if you really cared for her you would not have done that to her and in the HORRIBLE way he threw her out...

I've been trying to understnad just why Songtae was so MEAN and left her out in the cold like that. I'm wondering if that was his way of trying to make her hate HIM instead of crying over him like she has been doing. Maybe I'm giving him too much credit and he just dumped her because of being a selfish greedy BB -in Sodol's words, LOL, Just a thought. But as they say, every dog has its day and I'm sure this mongrel has his coming up sometime soon ..I hope!

Soapy, my take on it is that right now, he does feel really hostile to Jiyeong because of how he feels inside. He knows deep down he's being an unconscionable jerk, and his conscience is really bothering him. So he takes it out on her, because if he'd never fallen in love with her, his greed wouldn't be making him do this rotten thing to her now. I don't know if this makes sense to others. It's called blaming the victim, lol.

I know the K-drama rule is "everybody redeemed, everybody happy" in the end and that does make for a nice, warm feeling, but I really hope Sua and Seonjae end badly. They are so ill-suited and the reason for their relationship so wrongheaded. She went after him because he's cute and a challeng; he responded to her from greed. There's no love, no promise of love growing through compatability. Nothing. I think they are meant to be a contrast to Baekho and Danpung, a couple whose affection, attraction and respect build over time. Their love will be genuine whereas the other kind is doomed to fail. If Sua and Seonjae make it, there's no point to the contrast, no moral so to speak. Maybe they'll find happiness in other ways: he might learn to appreciate simple things and she to see the value of kindness and humility. I can handle that, as long as they're not together.

Soapygrams and Lucy, I think you both are right, it's a mixture of both. You can tell his conscience is bothering him and he's methodically trying to suppress it. Also in many of the other dramas we've seen, the person will purposely be mean to get the other to hate them in hopes it will make it easier to move on.

It's called blaming the victim, lol. Lucy, it makes perfect sense. It's the same reason that many unfaithful spouses act so suspicious toward the innocent spouse. They also oftentimes act very mean to that spouse. It's the guilt they feel and they blame the victim for making them feel guilty. AbPsych 101 - LOL

Has anybody noticed that Seonjae is starting to look different? In the beginning, he was the handsome boyfriend, hard-working, successful, respectful at home, blahblahblah. Then the thing with Sua and Jiyeong, and his hair style got slick and now his eyes and jaw seem always hard. He's cold to anyone who crosses him, parents included, and his smiles can freeze in an instant. I think he's becoming the villain along with Chicken mom, MIL and Sua. MIL and even Sua may end up OK, learn the error of their ways and all that. But I hope Seonjae and his mother pay bigtime for their sins.

He is such a jerk.. is is mad because jyeong has not forgotten about him and is in pain. what human would not be. you date someone for a long time, you plan on getting married and one day out of the blue this person( i mean animal) breaks up with you, in the most cowardly , jeky way.. of course it is hard to get over, because it does not make sense. what an a@@!! I loved it when jyeong dad clocked him one. i want to see miae and baehko clock him one too. even sua deserves a beating for her actions. it will cause a rift between danpung and baehko once all is revealed.. hopefully before the wedding between satan and wicked!

Danpung and her mother noticed Seonjae crying, but I don't know if they heard him say Jiyeong's name. I hope so. That would be a clue to them that his motives for marrying Sua aren't good. Especially I want Danpung to know that he's been a jerk.

I felt so bad for Mr na today. he is a good man. he had a little talk with his Jerky son and told him it is not to late to marry who you love because it is obvious he does not love sua, but her $$ and position.. mr na tells jerk to like an honorable and diligent life and jerk basically said that is a crappy way of life and i am going to live like that. and basically did not appreciate what his parents did for him because the poor baby :') had to work hard to get where he is now and now wants to live the easy life of getting ahead by his wifes wealth!! that angered his dad because he feels that his son is not giving him respect ( i agree)! I can't wait till his selfish, greedy choices blow up in his face.. i wish his dad slapped him one.. now the jerk is probably going to work at bonjiour foods.. does he feel like a man when his future wife and dad in law are running his life?? using them to get ahead! i wish mansu knew about the jyeong business this way he would want them to get married but they would anyway this way they would live at mrs na house. poor sua would not have anyone to order around .. when everything blows up and Jerk has nothing he has only himself and his moms' meddling to blame. he made his bed, now his has to lie in it without any mopping or whining! LOSER!

Does anyone else see a resemblance between Seonjae and the actor Choi Sul-jong (Dae Joyoung)?
Sometimes I amuse myself by imagining the actors in the modern dramas in a historical drama instead. That's when I realized why Seonjae looked familiar to me.
