Door60, you are not alone, as my friends think I have a screw loose somewhere for watching K-drama. They all know not to call me from 9:15 - 10:00 every night.
But that's okay, 'cause I think they have a screw loose for being such fans of reality TV (which I think has been a contributing factor to the downfall of society - no offense to anyone on the list who likes reality TV).

Northwest, i agree with you, 100% I am not sure why they call it "reality TV" when all the villans say that in real life, they do not eavesdrop/stab others in the back/ manipulate/ cheat/ lie/ make out with someone to get the person to think they're on their side, etc. In real life, they all claim to be the guy/girl next door whom we would just love if we know them!

Good point, Sheila! Not only that but I truly believe that these reality shows are scripted, so how much "reality" is that? Like when someone sings horribly and then cries about it on shows like American Idol (Puleeeeeze!) or just plain acts outrageous on, well, there's just too many shows to name. I don't watch any reality shows but I do watch The Soup and get to see the clips of these horrible shows. (I hope I am not offending anyone on the list).
One other thing, I absolutely hate American soap operas, which is why my friends can't understand my addiction to Korean dramas (or soap operas). The reason I like K-dramas so much is because the stories are very well written with lots of believable plot twists and turns, and things are left to the imagination, no one is walking around scantily clad, hopping in bed with everyone, no steamy scenes that are in my opinion just gratuitous, etc. Another thing is that the stories have a beginning, a middle, and finally an end, they don't just go on forever with no resolution to a story line. I think Korean drama has so much more to offer than the American soap operas.

Well, I hope I don't disappoint you, northwest & sheila, but I do have a bit of reality TV addiction too. Nothing makes me snicker as much as the REal Housewives of NYC -- sorry, guys. But, I am not at all offended by your remarks. And, by the way, I love The Soup!

not disappointed at all, Door60. Hey, my best friend is a reality show fan and one of her favorites is Survivor and that horrible Kid Nation (I think it was called - I called it a modern day Lord of the Flies) she also likes these recent tacky dance shows where moms\sons and dads\daughters dance with each other in ways that almost border on incestuous. And Yay! for another The Soup fan! by the way, The Soup also has "The Soup Presents..." on Monday nights and it's usally clips of the best of the worst of stuff. It's pretty funny.

I'm not a big fan of reality tv either. The only one I watch is ANTM. Not interested in those fake a@($*^ dramas with the sole purpose of degrading women (most of the time). No offense northwest

Kumbis, lol, don't you think America's Next Top Model degrades women? I think it does. It seems to try to make the women look as stupid and shallow as possible.
(Sorry for buttin' in guys, just checking around for rude people in the spoiler thread and found this interesting discussion. Not implying that you're being rude--just explaining.)

Also, wanted to add that I love Joel Mchale and Tyra reminds me of Sua in that they think too much of themselves. (LoN reference, saved!)

Wow! but I think that the actor who plays Seonjae should be nominated for something. I think he is a great actor, his facial expressions alone convey words that don't need to be spoken.

I agree Nothwest but I think the doc should get a award too( please don't kill me ya'll). Really I think he's very good at playing his role especiallly the way he goes from an innocent boy to a sick twisted psycho ( we've all seen that scary look) and back to a tender loving boyfriend.
